Hm interesting…I don’t think BF is sneaky just plot-devicey but it could be interesting. She is after all…literally a puppet master with Pinnochio!

I thought it was Charming diving after Emma to save her from Sirens. He’s the expert on defeating them after all!
On the Eric/Archie thing–I do like the idea and nod, but I think Slurpeez is probably right. It could be a very interesting storyline though if they did it to pick up the theme of “silver lining” to the curse they were going to do for Frankenwolf. Although I like my crack Hookriel ship, I feel I wouldn’t like both of these to happen at the same time. The reason is I feel it would seem marginalizing if they did it that way because Hook is a main character, and Ariel if recurring/regular/main still more screen time than 2 recurring characters. So that’s my reservation. I actually like this idea so much I’d ship it above Hookriel, because I feel it could be very deep above just another ship of classic characters in a crazy mashup.
Many people do view not being straight as a “curse” and it could be profound to have a couple of characters say “No, it isn’t, it is who we are, and we choose this.” I sort of a have a head cannon, that part of Regina’s curse was that Archie and Eric were friends, who used to walk Pongo and Perdita together. During the curse, they were restricted to being friends, but after it ends, they realized as Ariel sings “They want more…”. Not to steal too much from brokeback mountain, but they can’t quit each other. So then we could have a very emotional scene of Eric saying “before the curse I was trapped, because I had all these expectations placed upon me but here in SB I am free, to be myself, and to be with you.” I don’t know something like that. It’s giving me feels.
But as I said, if they do that it might be at the expense of Ariel being bumped up to a regular character, and I do want Ariel on the show as she’s a childhood favorite princess.
So.., like Regina ripping out Henry Sr’s heart, I’m feeling conflicted 😛

I think GOAT might survive beyond the first episode, or at least Tamaraa but I do not think either is going to live much longer. Then the shadow thing has been guessed at a bit, but I still think Pan is sneaky and seeming good to Henry but not.
The writers talk about Heart of Darkness and Kutz when talking about Pan, and to me it suggests Pan is someone who gets corrupted by the power they wield, at first for the benefit of others, falling to savagery and oppression. Kurtz is feared but not really loved and respected, though treated like a demigod. So I think the lost ones respect Pan because of the ripppps but are not truly loyal to him.

Hm interesting, because we had a theory around for awhile about something like that, and then GirlhitsCar linked us the Andersen short story about a Shadow that takes over someone’s life. Maybe I’ll look for the link to that thread if someone else doesn’t post it first . There was more than one.
Rufio isn’t an official character but we know they use codenames for people auditioning. I think this might have been Devin.
I think the couple uproar thing (though I like the nod to Andersen’s original motivation) could also be Marian and Robin not being together. PriceofMagic’s definitely not on board with missing-Marian and RH ends up with Regina. So I can see many fans not expecting it and hating the idea. Besides the Tamara is RH daughter idea, is the idea that one of the Lost Ones is Robin’s son/daughter. I think the Eric thing isn’t happening until 3×06 and the spoilers were based on the first 2 episodes. Finding out that Marian is dead, might be the uproar thing, I don’t know.
So maybe that would make sense a little bit. It could also be that Pan plays a game on Henry, makes him think he’s a good guy and they try to escape from the “Shadow”, but its all a game.

I prefer neither, but of the two I think brothers. I think the idea that Rumple was a lost boy undercuts Neal’s journey and experience.

In my day in NL we had to walk uphill both ways through the snow.”I suppose Neal still has the Darlings and arrival in modern land without magic, but I think I would prefer if this is where we get the Oz hints. Rumple’s father could be the cowardly Lion, not an actual lion of course. Then it just parallels what PP went through, rather than being connected to it. So Rumple was adopted by the Spinsters, and parallels the fact Regina adopted Henry.
What if Rumple never really appreciated them as much, and he kept thinking of the father who left? Meanwhile PP ran away and stayed young, but Rumple’s past he was given his weaving skills and the chance of a good life?
I also don’t like the Hook and Rumple are brothers theory (or father/son, eep, teenage baby-daddy Rumple, before Milah, leaves a bun in an oven and ….Eeep no. No! ).Well if they’re doing it, they are 😛 I realize it could be a bridge of experience between Rumple, Bae and Henry it just rubs me the wrong way.

Yes! I think that is what the writers mean. It will be tough though as Neal is off and Emma and Hook will be getting closer. Guesses around the promos will be intense!

There is a lot we need to see in Neal, and I think that’s why the writers wanted to send him on this journey. We already sort of guessed a lot of things in those spoilers from Henry’s birth, to Regina adopting and I’m excited to see all of it.
