EvilCricket lives….just kidding. I wonder if that might be in the past? Would it be the adoption story, playing out to where she first realized she had a problem with Henry being the only growing one in the curse? Then seeking out Dr. Hopper to help Henry?

It blows a lot of our theories! I think Ariel was caught by the curse and that’s how she became human. I think they’re in SB, because that’s where they were being filmed I thought. I’m not sure what is going on with their outfits though–night of clubbing?

So I lost track, is the princely costume shooting in 306 or 307?
Plus he might feature in a flashback as a neighboring Prince, but JoAnna might not be in the scene if she’s a mermaid watching him from afar.
I’m still curious about the speculation that she “became” a mermaid, rather than having always been one.
Not that I think they intentionally did it as a clue–but remember Cora turned a guy into a fish. What if that’s a spell Regina was TRYING to do to Ariel and messed up, hence the “mermaid problem”?

He does have kids, and if you rewatch the airport scene they were extras in the shot just before the metal detector bit. His son inspired the creepy Rumple voice.
I think it might be fun to ask what hybrid costume he likes more–playing Rumple in Gold’s suit or being Gold in Rumple’s clothing? Which persona does he want to dominate?

I did not think there was a hint, but you never know! I thought it was just that Owen was saying that other kids did not know how to be normal around someone grieving. If you saw Super=8 it starts off with the idea the boy’s mother died in a freak factory accident or something. So there is this tension where his friends are not sure how to act, you cannot go back to normal but you don’t want to make too big a deal either to the point your friend is uncomfortable.
