ParticipantWilliam Shatner has to do a cameo! He can be the guy who taught Emma the bail bonds business. Who turns out to be (because girl can’t have anyone normal in her life) Merlin!

ParticipantThat’s creepy Ranisha, but it is quite possible she wants to make herself as powerful as the Dark One without actually having to bear a curse to do it. She may want all the good qualities and power, beauty, courage, intelligence, just for herself, all the things she was told she lacked growing up with a drunk of a father, envying everyone else.

ParticipantThere is an old thread on this somewhere, and Galuthria I think made a transformer opening (you know that scene in the woods where we get a hint what the episode is about).
I was hoping for Mary Poppins, but they’ve sort of said that Wicked is emulating her manner, very sweet and such (though I thought Mary had a little subversive touch to her).
So next on my list is Cruella.

ParticipantAll the more reason I think a RumBelle wedding isn’t out of the realm of possibility!
My current headcanon is that they’ll get married in the season finale in the EF and that Zelena similar to Regina with Snowing’s wedding in the Pilot will crash it and announce that she has enacted the curse. And then, poof, everyone is transported to Storybrooke. It would only be logical to have someone interrupt a nice Rumbelle moment again
I could see that. I also like the idea of the wedding being IN the EF, because the costume possibilities are a little more ornate 😛

ParticipantWhat if her adopted dad is:
Blackbeard… who we know is an upcomming episode, and supposedly doesn’t bathe much. A shaky drunk guy being a pirate who drinks isn’t a stretch. I definitely wouldn’t think it is Hook though as her father, as Hook would be too retconny with a young Cora, plus he’s not that kind of drinker.

ParticipantWhat if it is connected with why she wants the Snowing baby?
In the Sleeping Beauty myth, the fairies bless the baby with the best qualities, well, wouldn’t you think courage, heart, and brains just about the best thing you would want the perfect kid to have? It’s all lovely until that Maleficient showed up and cursed the kid of course–but anyway, the idea of a fairy godmother granting unusual characteristics as a blessing, perhaps Wicked is trying to raise Ozma.

ParticipantI was really bored with this episode. Rapunzel wasn’t just a filler character–she FELT like one. Red’s mom? She was filler but she felt like she mattered in that tale, that it was her, not some random person. Rapunzel in this one? Not so much as she had no history with David. I understand they can’t always have a huge story for every character they introduce, but for a Disney princess like Rapunzel, at least I’d want there to be hinted at more to come even if they never decide to do it. When she mentioned a brother, I was hoping it would turn out to be Lancelot and we’d find out he wasn’t dead, and….you know, easter eggs for some future plot down the line leading to Camelot or a hint to the past. Lancelot mattered to David, to have saved his sister and help give her courage to lead their people? Wouldn’t that have made it more touching? Instead we got a potential plot hole + a character that we’ll probably never see again. Maybe the kingdom and that part of the forest was in Cora’s bubble (and it was much bigger than it looked) but still it all just seemed wonky.
Other than that, Zelena is a good villain, creepy and psychological.
The only scene I really enjoyed was Regina and Henry in the park.

ParticipantA thought just struck me (forgive me if someone else has come up with this ‘theory’). What if, after RS cursed Zelena with green skin, Cora sent her off to live in the LWOC in order for her to live a normal life (since her green skin wouldn’t show through)? What if Zelene, now living in a foster home, suddenly gets transported to Oz? Could Zelene be the OUAT version of the WWW and Dorothy?
Interesting, might explain why Whale is back in the story. Then again I think he’s back just as a background character like Granny and it is a reversal /recast of Regina’s curse. I’d love for there to be more to it than that though.

And she follows! She’s angry and hurt and scared but right then and there, she’s just realized that she still loves him and she will follow him.
She was trying to capture him for Rumple for the deal though 😉 but the moment that struck me is when she goes out of the bar and leaves him. Maybe there were no other exits but usually there are so to me it seemed like she trusted him not to bolt. He sat there and waited.
He chose to wait while she called MM. He did not try to run. Even though he cut a deal to have her lie about seeing him, he chose to come back to protect her. In NL, he fought by her side even knowing she might not have room to love him as she once did, and he asked her in SB, ready to face the pain of her rejecting him. Whatever fear or doubt he had, he conquered but it is not just about him. Emma still thinks the Savior does not get nice things. She might think Neal is safer without her but then there is Henry to think about too. She won’t give him up so easily but what kind of life can she have is the big question, where is her home? I think it will be with the people she loves in SB but I think Neal will feel the same. He would live with magic for her and Henry.

Participant^ I love how Emma used skills of breaking and entering, which she probably learned from Neal, to get inside his apartment. Once inside, she had an instant look of recognition when she saw his dreamcatcher.
Yes. And the look of something being familiar was on her face even before she saw the dreamcatcher. Just being inside his HOME and she connected it somehow (cough true love cough) to Neal.
Aww!
