So at least something good came out of that spammer on twitter-confirmation that Neal couldn’t have stayed. I’m not sure I’d agree they explored why he stopped looking for her (other than being afraid she could never forgive him).
I also think its interesting how all of us have different thoughts on how much CS there will be. I don’t expect much SF for a long time, at least until the midpoint next season and I think it will start off very tense and angsty. I think there are a lot of complicated feelings between them.

ParticipantYes, I want to know more about Jefferson, his wife and all that. I also want to see scenes of Regina and him in his house. Did she ever bring baby Henry by –no one else in town could appreciate all the milestones, first word, smile and I can see her sadistically tormenting him with the fact she has a son and he doesn’t have his daughter.
@emilieisanangel There were also other — off screen — interactions between Regina and Jefferson where he learned a lot.

ParticipantOoh, sisters like the wicked witches west/east?

ParticipantHm, interesting point that the actress might be free and already unofficially on tap. Too bad it would be limited to backstory though.
I just had a thought to add–A&E are star wars fans…maybe Mal had a secret apprentice evil fairy, maybe that is Tinkerbell?

ParticipantWriters like to give couples obstacles, because that’s where they hit you in “the feels” with how impossible it all seems, for there to ever be reconciliation, then it feels surprising when it does happen and inevitable at the same time.
I think her using his sword, and he having her necklace would be so nice symbolically, echoing his words to August about leaving Emma the car. He wanted to feel like he was there with her, because he couldn’t be with her due to what he believed about being in the way of her destiny and the curse.
Tiny wore a necklace to remind him never to trust, Emma claimed to do the same–and we see Tiny does trust humans again. At first, it was just Emma, but Snow and Charming convinced him to extend that trust beyond just her. Emma did trust Neal again at least with Henry, at least to get her back. I feel trusting him beyond that with her heart is inevitable, but how she gets there will be the surprise.
We already had part of that surprise. She had to be shocked into admitting she still loved him. She never would have otherwise, that wall was too thick, and it would have been tragic as he didn’t fall out of love with her. He didn’t leave her to hurt her, or get together with Tamara to hurt her. None of his actions were done out of spite.
I have mixed feelings about a Tamara/Emma/Neal/Hook confrontation in NL. I do not want Emma or Neal to be out to kill her or him. I do not think that is who they should become. Emma will protect fiercely, might enjoy a bit of violence to blow off steam (her toaster dismantling, chainsawing Regina’s tree), and Bae did come at Hook with a sword, but revenge? I am not sure they’d be as noble as Charming almost dying to prevent Snow from killing Regina, but I do not think they go in for revenge. There might even be a scene where Neal misunderstands something and tries to attack Hook, and Emma gets in the way as Charming did, or where Neal protects Tamara from Emma. These things will create surprise, might cause fans (ok we know it would) to question SF but the happy ending will still be there eventually.

ParticipantAlso, I couldn’t put just his tweet, so about the person he’s responding to, obviously people get a little forceful on twitter and complain more than they compliment. I don’t feel disappointed and sad already, because it makes sense for Hook and Emma to interact. I know the writers think putting Emma in this situation is “fun” and we’ve seen how snarky and sarcastic Adam and Eddy can be, though they can be sympathetic and sweet as well. I really do think they “accidentally on purpose” put scenes in that fuel things they aren’t going to do. They actually want reactions just like that person because then they know there’s doubt. Conflict with uncertainty, that’s the drama they are hoping to make.
So it is deliberate to make scenes unfold in a way that people can read them differently.
@HeckL45 @giftofamber @AmberCerasani we try not to be predictable. The tricky goal is to be surprising and inevitable at same time.

Participantlol RG…well isn’t that what a shipper thread should do!
(Edit, couldn’t get the spoiler around the embedded tweet…but technically it is just about the promos so not a spoiler.)
@swan_magic @HeckL45 @xelaMsrM just one scene. More pics to come

So that is why I think it is part of one continuous scene somehow but would make more sense if a gap of some sort

ParticipantFeellllls, Phee. Sniff.
the picture order seems messed up, but I think Adam did tweet it was one scene right? Still trying to figure out the jacket off, holding out key versus later on with sword having the jacket back on for Hook. I think he might give Emma the jacket when she is passed out on deck, but she takes it off as soon as she wakes up. So he puts it back on maybe.

ParticipantThat’s awesome! I kind of stopped speculating on WL stuff but I think this is such a cool twist.

ParticipantI haven’t followed the speculation in the WL section–so are you saying Will the Knave is Will Scarlet?
