ParticipantI don’t think it was Rumple, since they show a beach with Palm trees. I think it is a visual clue of Milah’s longing to escape. Bae was fairly young at that point and the drawings are sophisticated with shading, not like most kids could do at that age.

ParticipantLady Macbeth seems a lot darker than Belle, even despite the amnesia/Lacey aspects, and together with the aspect of “anti-mother” and ambition/power attached to the character,I think she might actually be represented in Rumple’s life by a combination of aspects of Milah and Cora. Cora clearly had the ambition and power, and Milah obviously left her son.

ParticipantCuriouser and Curiouser! So I suppose they are two different characters then.
I wonder if they will make an announcement on Eric’s casting and promote it, to the extent they did the same with Phillip and Aurora, or will it be more minor like Prince Thomas? I wasn’t following online back then so not sure how much buzz they tried to generate with Cinderella and her Prince.

ParticipantI like Braeves! Maybe that will get traction with Neal fans.

ParticipantI also find the new font size distracting and dearly miss the preview feature, as well as how easy it was to embed quotes.
I appreciate though that embedding videos and images are streamlined and the chat box so I know there’s a lot of work done here!

ParticipantThe Ursula as magic-squid-krakken idea is popping up a lot now, and I think it is how they will go. I think your idea Nick of Rumple making Ariel a deal to regain her mermaid form is very interesting.
I had a thought too of what the producers may have meant about how Ariel “gets” to NL. What if she brings Neal, because she is how MAP got Phillip’s soul back. They cannot explain more now without giving away this connection, but the story of how Aurora and Mulan met Ariel could be exposition and backstory later. Just as Mulan meeting Phillip was part of Belle’s story in the outsider.

ParticipantI love how you both put that! It explains perfectly what I think the story being told is, and hope it will continue to be. A tale of two people who hold onto their love despite the outside forces trying to pull them apart, despite their own insecurities and fears. Plus we do know love, real love, cannot be created by magic (best you can do is the illusion), so it was not part of a scheme in that way.
I am wondering what the news that MAP’s story won’t be told regarding Phillip’s soul. Would it be that we see them find him, drag him to Nostos and that’s it for 6 episodes or more?
What if it really is Ariel that helps Neal get to NL? That Ariel helped them get Phillip’s Soul back? I’ll have to repeat this out of this thread I think as it isn’t entirely a shippy thought, but the ship aspect of Ariel bringing in Neal to NL could be that (to me as a Hookriel shipper too), that I absolutely think there’d be nothing romantic. That Ariel would deliver Neal (hah like he’s a pizza?) to NL, and that’s how she would meet Hook. This to me as a shipper sets up that Neal is reunited with Emma, and Hook (who given fan expectation that he and Emma continued to develop on the understanding the two have of each other) is shown as immediately intrigued by Ariel, rather than sad or angry or jealous of Emma and Neal. (The joked about Rhombus).
That might explain why they can’t do the story right away and are being coy about it.

ParticipantI feel the same as RG about Baewatcher, and not sure there will be a name that pops up now, but who knows.
Though I do think Bae/Red ship (if it exists?) should totally be Bae-o-Wolf.

ParticipantInteresting…maybe that is why she is not the same type of mermaid?

ParticipantThese are the same interviews from Comiccon right, we had seen links before, and this buddytv writer just wrote an article or are these new ones? They look very familiar in terms of what the highlights are.
