That episode with the key involved Katherine’s framing and the bloody knife. Maybe Hook is framed and joins the pirates? Or his father was framed as having left Hook behind?

Well if they were going to use her, I would think it would be the second half of season 2. We meet Ariel in the mid point of this season and get to know a little of her, then something like her mother’s story would wait just like Cora’s backstory could wait.

Interesting, but I think Hook has enough bitter from Milah’s death. I kind of like the idea that Ariel may have hurt Eric, and feel unworthy of love or something, and is in general in a darker place that puts her on Hook’s wavelength (I wrote that then realized the pun but not changing it).

Aww that’s all it was then. She must have been flooded with people tweeting her and I’m kind of surprised Adam bothered given how busy he probably is (though he also apparently has a bit of dead time in his schedule).

I hope he was justifying the time getting his name on her radar for a future role. I think she’d be a great for something. A bit too young to be Ariel’s mom unless in the past.

Plus I dont think her new show is doing that great is it? THe mistresses thing? Every review I see pans it. It also stars a LOST alum, Yun-Jin-Kim. Connections everywhere! (Mcgowan and Millano were 2 of 3 main stars on a show called Charmed that ran for years, for those who do not know it). So I could see her being someone they line up for a special guest arc, just not sure what role.

So not sure if it might mean anything, but Adam was spam tweeting Alyssa Milano baseball scores or something. I wonder since she was the model for Ariel, and they had Rose McGowen on for a role, if they might be trying to woo Alyssa to do a guest star role too.

Hook seems to be good at sleight of hand, and picking locks perhaps with a skeleton key would be up his alley. Maybe Regina got those keys from him, perhaps there’s a story involved with this aspect of him because it is not the traditional force and pillage pirate skill. It is more of a pickpocket skill.

I wonder how he broke into her castle so easily, for example, and maybe he did use subterfuge for some of it (pretending to be a servant).

That was lovely Phee. I liked the color similarities you found for a picture of JoAnna with the Red and black.

I hadn’t thought about how she loses her voice and he loses a hand and they both have to adapt. Well we assume she’ll lose her voice. Who knows how they are going to do anything!

I did think Regina may have had an actual mermaid she was dealing with but she didn’t really “need” Rumpel’s help. Now what could she possibly be doing in terms of deals? One is magical squid ink, but I don’t think Rumpel wanted her getting any of that, nor would she want him to know she had something that powerful.

Second is maybe something with her ships and trade, and a mermaid causing problems? Third, something with cursing Snow–in the original Snow White, one of the ways she kills Snow is a comb. I can’t find any specific comb-related thing other than the Fork in Disney’s version, and they left out the comb part from Snow too. Fourth, something to do with retrieving Henry. Sr or Killing Cora, perhaps? Was that visit before or after she had Henry Sr.?

Maybe Ariel was a collector of random things in FTL, and one of the things she had was something Regina needed and wanted back, just like she wanted the poisoned apple. So Regina felt safe enough to ask Rumpel for help, though she didn’t need to, as it would not be something she minded letting him know she was doing. At the same time, her real reason to be in his castle, as I said, was to taunt him knowing she had Belle. So if he did not help her (as he didn’t), no big loss for her.

I like the idea of Ariel wanting to explore other worlds. My headcannon is a mess right now! There is Rumpel with a trident, squid ink, possibly Eric, Hook’s past and Regina’s hair streak and mermaid problem. I think Regina made up a pretext to visit him, as her real point was to confirm Rumpel was heartbroken.

That would be so Rumple. Though I imagine him a bit more somber.
