ParticipantAt this point we do not know about Henry, and I see nothing to rule out that he has powerful magic, or to justify thinking he does. The writers leave a lot of doors to open with future plots. Regina seemed to think she could teach Henry magic, didn’t she?

ParticipantThe way he rolls his eyes as he does the hand gesture also suggests present day, like he remembers Neal mocking it.

ParticipantI tired to see what book it was.

ParticipantYes, logically all we know is that Emma is special because she is the Savior, not the rules for people born of true love or even if magic is hereditary. Charming is told by his mother she had true love and neither twin showed magic. So you cannot even explain away Ella by saying her baby was was born in pre-magic SB. Nor can you draw any conclusion about Henry.
Neither Snow nor Charming are shown as magical, except for the animal thing Snow has. So we cannot say whether Henry is.

ParticipantBeowolf was done as a cgi live action movie in the last decade. I think it could come up, but I think it is probably a code for another character, like Heidi was Wendy. Then again, what?

ParticipantI like the idea that Pan and Rumpel cancel each other’s magic out, RG.
Atlantica, I think that is a good explanation. I was thinking the spirit was stored in a medallion, that is why only one target and wraith at a time, but having it in the knife works too, so it was just the marking.
And Phee, the idea that the shadows and wraith are previous pans and dark ones is great!

ParticipantI agree POM! I guess the dwarves were too busy fighting fast grow weeds on the fast grow beans to build a jail cell. They could have at least locked him next to Sydney in the hospital basement. Logical problem solved, there are facilities. I believe Belle’s old room was available.
I could even start a ship for Severe Nurse and George. Just a misery/Stockholm syndrome kind of thing.

ParticipantMaybe it is like a LOTR thing–one dagger to rule them all! I think in that case, PP is like another Dark One, and they may just be quite evenly matched, both immortal, and neither can die unless stabbed with the respective daggers. This reminds me of something so I’m going to make another thread on it.

ParticipantFair enough, and all the present day stuff that a SF shipper would hope to happen would not be part of that plan anyway.
The more I think about how Neal and Emma met and broke apart, and Regina got Henry, it feels obvious the writers envisioned that someone was pulling strings. We even had a puppet (August). The writers just not did want to reveal the master until now that it is time to meet PP.

ParticipantOoh, I like that. Maybe at some point Bae is able to escape because of where he is sent, but actually, PP planned it that way? Although my shipper side says it would be nice if Neal and Emma were not part of an actual person’s evil plan, but really did just meet by fate. So that’s why it is off timing for the curse being enacted, like midway through the curse.
