Hook could have written the address himself, its not that hard a concept to learn, but then the zip code throws me. There’s no reason for Hook to put that down. Is it a production error, or a clue that he didn’t write the address? We never knew how he found Neal’s place in the first place in Manhattan.
We know Cora didn’t give it to him. What if the “map” Hookdeciphered was actually Neal’s address, and Rumple wrote it complete with zip code for Belle to be able to ‘magically’ send a letter using whatever magic let’s MM have a credit card and Regina adopt, and phone calls to work–ie no one notices things in a big system so magic can happen without being observed as happening by anyone in the real world.
Sometimes the little details mean the writers/production team just messed up and with some imagination we can “fix” it for them by “magic” assumptions, sometimes its a plot hole, and sometimes its a clue we’ve yet to understand.

Zelena is a shapeshifter? Maleficient ‘s sister spec might not be knocked off then! I’m kind of split whether WickedSisters is true, or it is a ruse that Zelena is pulling on Regina to lower her guard a little against her and keep her guessing what she REALLY wants from her. I do think Zelena wasn’t entirely lying though about growing up poor in Oz, given the way she pilfered Regina’s things and seemed genuinely annoyed that Regina left all the wealth behind and didn’t even care.
There are so many things about Maleficient’s story we never did get and it ties into little things with Regina “Old friend”, MAP “First she went after my mother” and even with Hook (like how did he know that’s who was menancing him in the Library basement in the “earth tones”). Of course these are probably just the usual open threads of plot that will continue to dangle and Zelena is just Regina’s never before mentioned or even hinted at sister and whatever other family wreath connection she has on her other side too.
By the way, I thought we had some earlier season 2 promos that showed Zelena as a hooded figure, and we just saw her in a hood in Regina’s office in the last episode. So one of our hooded figures is Zelena but there may be 2 others running about for maximum use of hoods.( Robin better file a complaint, that’s his thing!)

Cobwebs on the cage bars… I just find that little detail amazing. Gold is being imprisoned somewhere that’s just beyond creepy, probably decrepit and with a haunted house feel.
I agree and this might be nit picky of me….but why are there cobwebs? SB was just recreated not too long ago. Everything should be spic and span…?
Spiders work fast, and Wicked has other things on her mind than amenities 😛 Wouldn’t it be awesome if Rumple could do something like transform the spider webs into a way to get out somehow? I remember in the pilot they were so concerned about giving him even a utensil because they considered him that dangerous!

I would LOVE if they did something like that, which is probably why they will do something far more lame. there will likely be absolutely no connection or comparison made, and Whale and Ruby are there solely as background set decoration or plot device for Snow. I hope not and they do the plot they backburnered for Nl.

I loved the Whale line “I’m a doctor not a vet” and I loved the Wicked saying to Regina’s “you’re green” “And you’re rude” or whatever the exact line is.

Zelena said she was a student of Rumple’s too. I didn’t mean this as a Rumple rejects love storyline. I was thinking more along the lines of Zelena has a creepy obsession with him and he has no feelings for her. Unrequited love.
That could also be the reason he decided to use Regina instead. Maybe he thought Zelena was getting to creepy and clingy that as someone that would need to take the heart of the thing they love most this was a problem. He cut her off and went to the next suitable candidate her kindhearted little sister who had just lost her one true love.
Hm, if Rumple became the “thing” she loved most, that would kind of explain ditching her for someone else to cast it, no good casting the curse if he’s dead now is it.

That is an eerie possibility. It could fit in with Phillip and Wraiths and the untold thing about how Rumple “comes back”. A lot of us have wondered about the connections between the “dream ” Red Room and the underworld and the sleeping curses.
Anyone who’s watched the Shining (and apparently the writers do love their Stephen King)– Red Room…..Red Rum…..MURDER!!! (now I’m going to go shiver somewhere because that kind of horror stuff freaks me out).

I have a small headcanon going that says we’ll find Zelena tailored the “Walsh” disguise for one of her minions specifically to be a bit reminiscent of Neal. (I like this even more with the line Emma uttered about flying monkeys in this past episode. Heh.) She knew they was what would draw Emma (and Henry) in.
I find that’s no so far-fetch as we think.
I really want to know how a flying monkey can emulate modern day lifestyle so easily. And not have Emma’s super power alarm go off. I had a similar thought in the spoiler/spec stuff somewhere, before we confirmed people turned into monkeys, that maybe Zelena was able to turn Walsh into human form by taking some of Neal’s magical essence or blood or something to help Walsh be attractive to Emma. I mean seriously, it is pretty far fetched that she could send a monkey into the modern world and expect him to seduce and keep Emma away! If he were sort of “neal enhanced” well that might explain it.
Or maybe Walsh just bathed in that :P.
