ParticipantWhat if Marion is not pregant with RH’s child, what if she cheated on him with someone? Not the sheriff though (ick). Would quickly set up a bitter RH who is more dark than previous versions.

ParticipantAriel could fish out Neal in NL I suppose. So many possibilities .

ParticipantI’m confused by your “normally no lakes around” Ranches and Farms, even far away from the ocean, can be near lakes, rivers and ponds. All places you can learn to swim in the normal course of childhood.
It’s possible it is David, lots of things possible right now as we have very little information to rule anything in or anything out for Ariel.

ParticipantNew characters generally have or form a connection to our gang sooner or later, as otherwise there’s no point. The connections are not always in the past, and often to more than one person, even if they tease a surprise in it (like say, Tamara connected to Neal, but also to August and Greg, then Greg himself connected to Regina, and Neal’s storyline was connected to Emma, Rumple, Henry, and Hook).
Ariel having taught David how to swim is possible, but I would not put it in the “must be” category just on the fact that David was shown swimming in the water with the Siren and grew up without an obvious lake or stream near the farm.
We do know we will get his backstory, and since they featured him with a siren before, perhaps they would put him with the next mythological aquatic creature, but who knows. They might also have a scene where present day in NL David falls off the ship after Snow clocks him with the ship mast. I suggested that, but it’s very speculative.
I do think Tink’s connection sounds like it would be with Regina, and I wonder if it might have to do with Regina having “visited” NL by magic mirror. We know Regina had a problem with a certain mermaid, perhaps Tink is the one who ultimately helped her out when Rumple refused. I’m still curious to know what could have been a storyline worth getting Giancarlo as they know they can’t have him on too often so would they waste it with a ho-hum thing? I’m doubtful though that we’re getting Ariel quite that quickly as no one has been cast yet. Isn’t David’s backstory in the first few episodes or is it later? Could Regina’s problem have been that Ariel helped David with something while he was off being all knightly and heroic?
As they said in the interview, they brought in Robin Hood to help illustrate something about Belle’s past, the first time she saw Rumpel’s goodness potential. Did they tease that as a “special connection” to Belle or to Rumpel? Because they could have, or Lancelot had a “special connection” to both Snow and Charming, and you could say to Cora. We still don’t know how she knew him well enough to copy him or fake knowing Snow, as when he met her, Cora was trapped in WL.
So whatever connections they might tease it is not something they dole out one per character and only one character like with Snow and the Nanny.

ParticipantIf they do Felix /Regina, someone should do a video for that song Stacey’s Mom and change the lyrics or something to “Henry’s Mom….” I think they’ll have enough issues making Peter a credible villain to worry about making Felix a credible love interest for Regina. It’s not him.

ParticipantSo what could it mean that Regina’s new love interest “quickly becomes a part of the show” but not in a way we would expect? The expected way is some attractive stranger just waltzing in and having a “meet cute” with Regina.
The unexpected way would be we hear about a character but don’t meet him, or we meet the character but Regina does not.
That would give RegalHood some steam, if RH is appearing exclusively in SB meanwhile Regina is in NL. So we meet the guy, but Regina doesn’t.

ParticipantI thought it was confirmed somewhere that Regina did intend to kill the baby. She could not harm Snow (but note, that might not have covered Charming). If the baby died before it might not have broken it before cast, but the baby had to be alive to break it after. So then the curse never could have been broken.

ParticipantWhat you don’t want Zombie Milah? (previously thought deceased indeed!). Now that would be a father/son bonding moment.
I think a lot of the family drama has not been given enough screen time. Rumpel killed Bae’s mother, and they have yet to acknowledge this. I do think Bae and Rumpel both are being written as the type to bottle up feelings a bit. Bae’s lines “I didn’t exactly have a fairy-tale child hood” and “there’s not a ton I remember that doesn’t suck” barely paint the picture that he wasn’t just abandoned, but he was isolated as the Dark One’s son as people were afraid to associate with him. Bae probably is not used to having people around to listen to his real feelings on things, just like Rumpel.

ParticipantWhy would he need so many to not be alone? He also did let Wendy go, in order to catch Bae. So I don’t think it is as simple as he is lonely. He has something else in mind, besides searching for Henry, why he keeps the boys he takes.
I agree with RG–the diamond had, what I”ve seen described as a plot detour feel to it. There was no build up for the last two seasons, but I do think there was some build up to the idea that even in FTL, Regina did not trust Rumpel. I think there could be a back story to her seeking out power/teaching from other sources and that could involve her getting involved with Tink and that could involve the diamond.

ParticipantYeah think so, but then it was said he would be in flashbacks and it quieted down that idea. It weny something like Belle would free Sydney in SB and he would help her to contact the others.
