And with S2 bringing us
Another little fairy …..
I just thought they might get back to some of the spaces in August’s story.

Not sure the tweet was mentioned here but Adam confirmed that August did not write Henry’s Book.  Phee embedded the tweet in the August character thread.  There, something non-shippy for you to think about Happy Endings.

Ooh, thanks Phee.  That was the one.  I still haven’t made a twitter account so I’m not sure I even can embed it.

That is a good catch on the hair.  They didn’t say surprising connection, just a connection and to “group”, what group is that? The core characters or just the core on the boat?  And Hook and Bae are both obvious answers to any NL character being connected, as those are the two we know went there.  Of course, Neal meeting any of these characters after he left NL would be surprising too, if he met in the “real” world or if like some have suggested, Ariel meets Neal in FTL after he fell through and before he met MAP.

I’m not a fan of Ariel being in FTL though, and really doubt she appears in real world ever (aside from the promo of SB and stealing a fork). Cause Ariel in NY would really be a splash rip off…though they did name check that movie.

I’d prefer that Regina isn’t the connection for both Tink AND Ariel but if it is so, guess she gets to be the Kevin Bacon this year instead of Rumple.

I didn’t realize this, so not sure if mentioned in this thread, but apparently,

Adam tweeted a few days ago that August is not the author of the book. I don’t have a twitter account to link /embed it, just web searched it.  He tweeted on August 1.

I am not sure they planned to de-age August at the start of the season, but I think Eion had an offer to be the lead in another series, and they reworked a few things to wrap up his character arc.  The series fell through though, so Eion is, presumably, still available for them.  The writers have not made a big deal about Ashley or Katherine, but have made a point to mention Seb, Jaimie, Meghan and Giancarlo. I am kind of surprised that I haven’t seen that kind of “don’t worry, he’ll be back” talk. So I do doubt the rumors, but at the same time, I’d be more sure that adult August would be back if the writers had as much obvious love for the guy as they’ve displayed for other talent who’ve moved on to other projects.

    At to the spoiler:

Even without adult August, I think they could connect Tink to Neal and Emma and involve him in a way.  They could show a scene of Tink spying on these two in a bar, and following them as they are getting a little amorous, back to their car.  Then we hear a little bell sound, and she then picks up her phone-that-isn’t-just-a-phone and says something, as she looks at a hand drawn picture of August, in the same style as Henry’s picture.  Something like that would introduce Tink, set up her personality/role as a minion of the H.O. without needing the actor, then we follow Tink setting up the adoption with Emma in prison, maybe even meeting Mr. Gold to give him baby Henry.  .

    Yay, another lightening round!

With the whole Home Office and Peter Pan storylines, there’s got to be a connection to Henry.  Whatever Peter wants with Henry, he apparently didn’t need it until Henry was the age in the picture or he couldn’t be sure of it as a baby was not good enough to match to the picture.

We guessed Rufio would not be in the show, though I don’t remember the Hook movie well enough to get the nods, unless they really are going to use the “pan” as a title.
Regina’s love interest–could it just be referring to Genie/Sydney?  He was unrequited love but still love.
So what is first and foremost on the minds of SB, with the beans destoyed, EQ and Rump gone along with the charmings? Huge power vacuum, usually that means panic in an angry mob scene.

I think the writer was generalizing, but it is possible Adam pulled a fast one, as what he is really saying is Alice and Wendy’s Londons are different, not that Wendy’s London was the past of the “World without Magic” in which Emma and Neal met.  What does, after all, “Real” mean ?  We all say that as shorthand but do Adam and Eddy use that term for Land without Magic too?

I think its possible they could get him for a small part, or even reuse some footage maybe?
