ParticipantThey do not tease every connection. Neal being Bae was one they wanted to hide, though some fans guessed. Tamara and Greg? Cora and Rumpel’s romantic past? They like to surprise too. So I don’t think the lack of teases rules out PP as young Rumpel, and it is interesting to think about.
I still like the brother idea, but I agree young-Rumpel = PP would set up all kinds of interesting connections/storylines. My main reservation are the timing issues and that Rumpel has already been mashed into the crocodile. Felix says PP never fails, so unless it is a title, or there’s something we are missing about the context in which he meant the remark, it sounded like he was working for PP currently.

ParticipantI like that POM, there is sort of something parallel to the original story having PP follow a maternal lineage of Wendy.
I just realized that the Whale story did kind of talk a little about sibling rivalry as clearly their papa favored one son over the other. If Whale is involved at all as a spy for the HO, and PP does turn out to have issues with a sibling, that would be sort of a neat parallel.
I am thinking though that we may have seen as much Whale as we’re going to with that bit in GMSB at comic con. I wanted more on the science/magic story and definitely see ways for them to do it, but the actor has a recurring role on another show, and seems to be getting guest spots elsewhere. There are enough other story leads for them to chase then to spend loads of time on a more minor character like Whale. I just feel bad to see the character’s place in the story amount to such a golfclap of an end, after spending last summer wondering so hard who in the FTL he was.

ParticipantThat story is so sad Jo! Poor little Peter, locked out and replaced. Sibling Rivalry is one common family theme I don’t think the show has actually touched on yet, either.
We have had parent/child issues galore, but all our main “children” are singletons. David HAD a twin but they killed him off fast.

ParticipantThe brother idea seems the easiest, whether to Hook or Rumpel, since we think PP has been waiting for Henry for centuries. Unless we go back to the whole “Rufio” idea of “THE PAN” as a tittle that gets passed around. We seem to have dropped the idea now that people aren’t championing NealfirePan or Killipan. It could still be the case though. Especially now that we know the casting call marked Rufio was for PP. If they are still going with “The Pan” idea, then the current PP could be of more recent birth.
I’ve seen people suggest Pan is related to Regina. I think it is very unlikely she could have had a child with Daniel or Leo. Cora on the other actually could have had another child, and given him away, or Milah and Hook even. It would really open it up to connect him to the family tree if they do the PP= title not a single person approach. That doesn’t mean of course that PP wants Henry to be the next one, since there’s still that “you get to live line”. Henry might be wanted for a different reason.
I also forgot about the whole Belle to Tink connection idea. They could be sisters/half-sisters/mother/daughter or something. I like the “first laugh” idea, that Baby Belle created Tink.
“When the first baby laughed for the first time, its laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and they all went skipping about, and that was the beginning of fairies.” Barrie wrote in the original play. That was changed by Disney a little for their Fairies franchise, so new fairies are born from new babies (like Tink).
So if Tink is connected to Belle, and is also in some kind of romantic relationship with Peter, that would connect them to our wreath.

ParticipantHenry adoption might make sense, if HO had a hand in it too.

ParticipantNot existing yet would be a good explanation if BF is not sneaky, just not “all powerful with knowledge of the future”. We only have Morraine saying she is all powerful, so what does a kid in the trenches of a war really know? Isn’t it a plot point that some stories get twisted? Maybe that’s true of BF too–she isn’t all powerful or even that powerful, but her legend at one point made her out to be much more than she is. Except when the plot needs it of course.

ParticipantI saw the one with J.Mo and I thought it was really good. If you just want to know about hints for next season or Emma’s love life it will do nothing for you. I enjoyed hearing about what inspires J.Mo in her performance as Emma though.

ParticipantI’m sure RC had a smart entertainment lawyer who made sure his contract for that job had some limits for his comfort and sanity on the makeup. Unlike your standard minimum wage job, actors at his level probably have quite a custom employment agreement.

ParticipantThere seems like a gap here somewhere that we have probably talked about before somewhere.
Grumpy was not named Dreamy when he met Snow in the cell, yet in his centric episode he breaks up with Nova and returns to work then becomes “Grumpy”. So what we just talked about suggests he somehow got in trouble after that for stealing a diamond for a girl but that wouldn’t make sense as he’d already broken up with her, unless, he got in trouble after that.
In any case, its possible that Blue Fairy ordered the mines closed in order to have a magical enough place to hold Rumpel, but I’m not sure they had mined the last ore and it was closed already. That could be, but I am trying to recall something that backs that idea up to further the idea that FTL had many signs of losing magic.
So far our only clue seems to be Fewer Enchanted Trees. That’s a good clue still, but not as strong as multiple signs like no more ore, no more beans too.

ParticipantJo– I love that crackship of the babies in Romeo/Juliet mode.
But the Gold/all the dwarves one. My sides hurt from laughing.
