Age does not always bring authority and wisdom to people.  Physical strength does not always establish the rank order of power.  There are some young people who end up calling the shots, manipulating those around them by sheer intelligence, inherited authority or other means.

If you look at history, we have made Kings and Queens of people not all that old.  Perhaps there are older advisers, perhaps sometimes they are puppets,  but we have stories of many such situations.  You don’t even have to go back that far–right now there are some teenage millionaires, some self-made even, who probably have far more  authority and influence than a lot of adults. Certainly than  I do!

I know I feel behind the curve on internet social media compared to the teens who are growing up with this stuff woven into daily life, some of whom might be out there inventing the next big thing.   So if Felix does not have power, and PP has magic and knowledge, it won’t look that silly if Felix is taking orders.

PP afterall can rip shadows, and that sounds pretty frightful.

I know MatthewPaul posted the link of Tinkerbell’s character model, but not sure if anyone posted this little clip of that lady talking about modeling for tinkerbell.  She describes Tinkerbell as beguiling, and says she wasn’t in love with Peter, just didn’t want Wendy taking her place in the adventures.

You know, there’s that old saying about picturing your audience naked to help if you are feeling jittery about public speaking? I laugh thinking about Robbie Kay watching Full Monty to prepare for his role.  He just might be able to pull off the acting here after all, and not be intimidated in the least.

I was also thinking about the 17 year old villain thing.  There are other movies that show kids doing evil things, and it isn’t always laughable, because part of the conflict is how to stop them without forgetting that it is a child who in some ways, is too young to know better, who might learn (and can lead into the hero underestimating the villain).  There’s a bit of that in the Harry Potter novels (Dumbledore versus Riddle), but there are other movies/shows that have done that.

Yes, I agree that Rumpel probably not interested in talking about Bae–but Hook might be.  I also think Rumpel would suggest the split Hook, Emma and Regina, so that he could be paired with Snow and Charming–with the plan to ditch them.  He might also ditch them the moment they get to NL.

I do wonder though–if this is a suicide mission for Rumpel, does he not care about saving Henry?  I mean, who exactly is going to take care of Henry if he says I don’t care about Emma, Regina, Charmings, let everyone else who loves Henry die?  Does he think he will send Henry back to Belle?  I am a wee bit puzzled there.

If Rumpel ditches them, then I am not sure the others would willingly split up 3 and 2.  It might be the JR gets shipwrecked –we never know–or someone gets lost off the ship when it lands.

They were working in the mines when Grumpy became Grumpy, and not too long after that.   When did they stop?  When Snow was living with them, or was it just to help take back the kingdom?

We had the notion that maybe GOAT were working for a real HO like one started by Wendy, but only pretending to work for PP before we saw the finale.  Now we know that PP is fooling GOAT it seems less likely the HO is anything but a front.

What POM says makes sense, but I still do not see how anything in the interview with Lana and the dialog from Felix support the idea that there is a bigger threat than PP in the immediate arc, that Felix was referring to someone other than PP.   I said it before–the writers love twists so there could be someone manipulating Peter.  Many of us banded about the idea that Tink did something to Peter.  I do not think PP is knowingly a bounty hunter answering to someone else.  His shadow may control him and be sort of a separate darker entity, but I think what we have read for now is to point us to fear PP.  Not some mysterious other force–but I do like the idea that Ursula is hiding in the wings.  In season 2 we had Cora as one threat, then GOAT as a more or less unrelated threat to Cora and her goals.  We also had Spencer.  So it is definitely possible that PP will be one of many villains.

I had a notion too awhile back that maybe Tink and Peter are not exactly on the same side and both could pose a threat to our JR crew.  That was the Tink “blessed” Peter to be immortal when she fell for him theory.  Now I think that the actress looks a wee bit too old for that angle.  But the idea was that PP would not be the only threat.

I do like that split RumplesGirl, and hope they go that way.  I do want to see Rumpel and Emma talk about Neal, who he was when she met him.  I want Rumpel to be curious about who his son grew up to be, not just the boy he lost.  We haven’t seen that yet.

It could also go– Emma, Hook and Rumpel, in one team, then Charming, Snow and Regina.

If Regina has been to NL before, each group would had someone familiar. While we don’t get parent/Emma moments, we do get Snowing moments along with CS, plus Hook/Rumpel rivalry and Regina/Snow rivalry.

There’s something good (and non-shippy) no matter what.

Someone asked for more Emma backstory pre-Neal and I think the writers said they would do that.

I do kind of want to see more of her WITH Neal, especially as a contrast to having a conversation in present with Rumpel, but that could be too shippy for some people I suppose.  I really just think the Rumpel to Emma connection through Neal ought to be explored a bit as Rumpel’s never tried to find out more about the man Neal became.  Then again, he didn’t seem too interested in finding that out from Neal himself (the offer to turn him back to 14, and that right after finding out he had a son too!).

Not sure I remember the mine closed in FTL just in SB during the curse.

Now here’s something odd–why was Snow White’s casket ripped away to SB, but the entire castle and Emma’s nursery was not? Some things like the mines and Rumpel’s things apparently traveled over.
