ParticipantThe bunny wins, agreed.

ParticipantJane Epenson laughingly agreed with a fan who suggested Cora literally belittled Henry Sr. and cut him down to size.
Ah yes, back to Tink….she is also a very popular figure in Disneylore–very heavily merchandised. Interesting that both she and Ariel are being brought in this year. Ariel’s movie is being released again of course, and Tink fits to the NL arc, and who knows, seems like they always have a Tink movie in the works (there’s been quite a few direct-to-dvd ones made). I wonder how much Disney corporate is like “Yes, A&E we would like you to cross-promote this character this year.”
Good thing they didn’t push hard on Dumbo when it came out of the vault.
I think I’d be more excited about Tink if I weren’t already numb from the Ariel reveal. I get the feeling Tink will be a smaller arc somehow (but I’m probably biased by the Hookriel crackship).

ParticipantI think both MJR and EdR feel a bit left out of course, as actors, when questions start talking about NL, since their characters are not there. We’ll have to see how all the storylines converge, but I don’t doubt they will at some point. There’s more drama to be had that way, then to having Neal wandering around FTL with no one, and Belle talking to minor characters in SB by herself.

ParticipantI think it is likely he and Phil were restored by the Lake Nostros. So after that happens, if Bae just on his own goes home to SB, he would only then find out Henry is kidnapped. So no backtracking at all, but at that point, he and Belle might go to NL to rescue Henry and everyone else. Of course, they have to figure out that is where they are. Maybe there’s some device left behind by GOAT in the canary that tips off Belle and Bae to look in NL. Maybe they dropped their IPOD of magic instructions or something.

ParticipantI think Bae has jumped around and he must know where there is some other portholes in FL.
You know, back when we didn’t know who mystery man (aka Bae) was, many people saw the “cleaners and hatters” sign, and thought he had a connection to Jefferson. That he was the march hare, or something like that.
What if that IS kind of true–now that the writers know they won’t really have Seb Stan around due to his busy schedule, they may have grafted some of the “portal” jumper stories to Bae. It gives Bae a role. I was asking this question somewhere, that Bae doesn’t really have this identity to the group. He’s not The Savior, or the Dark One or whatever–so what if he is a portal jumper?
What better skill for someone to pick up if you’re trying to escape the Dark One? Of course at some point he ends back up in the Land Without Magic, and there he stays, meets Emma, and tries to “give up all that”
I don’t know if that’s where they are going but could be kind of interesting.

ParticipantMaybe MAP have a plot device ancient wizard (PDAW) up their sleeves…..how did they get Phil back? And PDAW will use his ancient secret portal–could even tie in that Dragon guy that Tamra killed. Like it was how the dragon was banished to our world long ago.

ParticipantThere are many ways that Belle might find out about Bae. It is a show with magic and a plot device fairy.

ParticipantYes, I remember that being spotted. I would really like them to bring Mo back in and develop Belle, crack theories aside. Whether it is a connection to Tink or not, and definitely, some story with Bae too.
I am excited for the NL and the JR crew of course, but it felt to me a lot of things fell through the cracks of the racing plot last year.

ParticipantIt could also be a flashback to Mulan and Phillip’s “many battles”–though not sure we’d want to spend a lot of time on backstory for such minor characters, unless, it tied back to another main character (like, Belle). We already saw that story though, that Belle asked Mulan to look after Phillip–would they have met again? Seemed like Belle got caught and put in the castle pretty soon after that, so I am doubtful.
Well, killing off Aurora is one way to resolve that triangle, but….woah that’s harsh.

ParticipantIf it is, then Emilie definitely said “stepmother will take care of you” or words to that effect.
