ParticipantPoor Anders –went from playing an iconic and interesting character to being a generic doctor that they could fill with any one–in fact, Ashley had a different baby doctor, so it makes it all the more awkward if that’s all they do with him–stuff any extra could do, doesn’t develop HIS character at all.

ParticipantThe thing is we have not seen a redemption moment from Amara. We infer her purpose is to free her sons, but she did a lot of evil things to get to that point. Rumple acknowledged that and sacrificed himself so you would kind of think Amara would have to do the same.

RumplesGirl wrote: if you look at the GIFs I just posted, Emma looks so hopeful about seeing Neal. She’s remembered the way she feels about him and she wants to see him. But once again, she is denied because the Savior can’t have nice things
YES! The look on Emma’s face says it all. She looks so in love when she thinks of him, yet is crushed to think the price she has to pay for being the savior is not getting to have Neal. I have a theory that some people may assume the worst fate about Neal but that Emma is going to be the one this time who holds onto hope he is still alive. Last time, Emma had been hoping he’d died, not because she wishes him dead, but because it would’ve been easier on her not to deal with their past hurt. This time, I think Emma is going to find her hope for her own happy ending though, because all happy endings start with hope. And if there is one thing MamaSnow has wanted for Emma, it’s that Emma would learn that lesson because she owes it to herself, not just Henry, to believe Neal could be alive. [/quote]
That’s all I have to say about that.

ParticipantWow very interesting and thanks for the greek myth links!
The pavilion does look similar, and perhaps there is something there, because it would make sense that Aurora and Phillip have a “special” meal at that place if it is where she was able to get him back. This episode also confirmed something someone (sorry forget who!) has been saying for awhile, that all the waters of all the realms connect in some magical place that goes between worlds. Ever since August took Emma to the well, that’ s been floating around.

ParticipantThe people who draw these things are so talented. I knew who it was and while not my favorite pose ever, I know I couldn’t do much more than a stick figure or maybe something Chagall-lie. I like playing with color but representational drawing? Don’t count on me.
I’m still sad that no little knit /crochet things won, maybe one day for the crafters–seen some of you guys linking your stuff, you’re talented!

ParticipantJafar drew a symbol on the ground when he summoned that dragon creature in WL so it could be part of a spell. And also, the thing looks like one of those imprints that the rainbow bridge leaves when it opens a portal in the Thor movies
Rainbow bridge…hm, over the rainbow? not going to lie, shipping wicked with Loki right now.

ParticipantArtsdeeva–such a wonderful pretty!
What did the Wicked Witch say on tumblr? “I’ll get you my pretty, and you’re little gifset too….”

ParticipantI thought Hook sounded concerned for Emma, and trying to reassure her. It was a contrast to the way Grumpy/Leyroy sounded sort of insensitive about it.
Then again, he’s supposed to have “missed [Bae] very much” but we haven’t seen much of that side, more the “rival rival rival” mode for the most part. If he said “I hope he is safe too” or “I am sure we will find him .” or even better both, “I am sure he is safe and we will find him”–THAT would be very nice and show an affirmative desire that Neal is safe. This way its like a deflection, “Turn up” makes him sound like a bad penny you just can’t get rid of, but the tone was not sarcastic even if the phrase chosen could have more strongly told us that Hook cares about Neal for his own sake. Instead, it seems this was more said to reassure Emma for her sake, because Hook cares about her, even if he doesn’t care or even doesn’t much mind if Neal doesn’t turn up.

ParticipantWell we fans of SF are feeling that pain right with her, I’ll say that much. Can’t have nice things is right….let’s hope it changes and I know we’re supposed to hope in a story like this for the heroine to have some happy.

ParticipantI hope it is a misdirect. There is so much story left to unfold. I see it over and again from people that “oh I’m ready to love Hook, he just has to stop being bad!”–so it is a very low standard that he doesn’t need to be a nice guy or even a hero, he just has to stop being an overly bad guy that threatens our favorite characters, but for Neal? Nothing ever seems to be enough, like whatever he does, people are like “that’s it? ” He doesn’t agree with the Charmings, in fact, disagrees politely with them about giving up on Emma, and to read the latest Screwball post, she thinks he just gave up. He needs more screen time and more of his side of things told if fans are ever to sort of root for him, and the more the story sidelines him, the more I feel like the writers actually don’t want the audience to connect with Neal. I hope I’m wrong, and that there will be plenty of scenes of Neal showing him in a positive light, doing things–even if perhaps he gets kidnapped or trapped or something Damsel-in-distress-ish, I want it to be the kind of thing that seems like it is building sympathy for him I suppose. I saw the sneak and I didn’t think Hook sounded peevish about it, just supportive, especially in contrast to Leroy’s blunt assessment said so uncaringly (but hey he’s Grumpy). So I don’t know maybe they are just running with the idea that Hook is now a sweetheart and he loves Bae but can’t help but love Emma, and who knows from there. I will root for Neal and I hope they don’t throw him under the bus, ruin his character and have him doing bad things to make Hook look even better but at this point I don’t have the faith I used to have they wouldn’t do such bad writing as that.
