We’ll have to find out who that cloak guy is….he’s got major creep factor though….just like that shadow.

Definitely I think Hook is hiding Bae from whoever the weird dude in the cloak is. He's protecting Bae, and his love for Milah wins out over his hate of Rumpel. That's something they can parallel with a glance at Emma as Hook forgoes killing a very depressed Rumpel.

    Also…
Someone just pointed out, in the flashback Hook has a red leather jacket…who else have we seen in red leather…that's right, Emma!

They may have had Gold looking after Henry, since obviously something had captured Regina, and they needed to search. Still odd seeing as Gold was all wrapped up with Lacey. Maybe Henry came by to talk to Gold, and after Neal’s comment that Henry was the only reason he was staying around in SB , Gold decided to spend time with Henry?
I don’t think that works though, because when Gold finds out Neal is dead, he doesn’t think for a second about Henry. He’s all “I deserve to die.” Ok, fine, accept your guilt finally, but what about your grandson! All this effort for “his boy” but no concern for his son’s son?

And Happy Endings–LOL at that. So true….

Yes Wharehouse 13 is a fun show, and what I first thought about for the Home Office, though the way Tamara talked to Neal about magic, seems way more ruthless/misguided!

Yes there was a LOT of good Hook stuff, so lots of reason to be buoyed by future possibilities.

sadly I don't think she'll ask Charming why he never punched Neal because of the current circumstances, but maybe someday that double standard will come into play. You'd think DaddyCharming would be more upset about that! But at least we know they work together later on!

We don't know the context in which Charming punches Hook.
Besides that, even if Emma told Charming what happened with Neal (at least, if she did so after Manhattan), I don't think he'd punch Neal.

Charming would likely see the parallel between his abandoning Emma as a baby and Neal doing the same thing to break the curse. Most people get hung up on the jail thing, but Adam tweeted recently that Neal did not set Emma up for jail Neal found out later but was still bound by the promise to let Emma be the savior. Both leaving a newborn baby or not rescuing the woman you love when you find out she is in jail are both awful, horrible things in the real world, but in the context of defeating a magical curse, it’s kind of “the price of magic”. Charming’s feelings about Hook will be based on what Snow has told him, not just Emma, as well as what he heard Hook say to Snow. It’s not about a double standard at all, and I think like with Whale, Charming will just get it out of his system and be ready to move on.

Snow will likely be the one who continues to doubt Hook, despite Emma and Charming. Someone mentioned getting irked at Snow for saying Emma’s lie detector doesn’t work, saying there wasn’t a time in the show it didn’t work. If you watch Fruit of the Poisonous Tree, Sydney Glass lies to Emma and does what Regina calls a “masterful” job of deceit. Snow tends to hold on to past incidents I think. I think Emma and Charming are more in-the-moment.

All the “Neal is worse” stuff just undermines CS to me, because it’s really not about the past and who is worse, but the future and who will be a better fit for Emma as her life as it is now. If Neal still wants to go to Tallahassee and settle down, if he is alive, that is not what I think Emma wants anymore. I don’t think she wants to sail off on a pirate ship either–but we have to see what Hook wants. Like Emma, I think Hook is about to go from one dream (killing the Croc) to another ( Having something and someone to make him want to live.)

This is what I think will happen with the mermaid thing: Emma will have to kill Ursula, like PC did to the siren in the lake but again I could be wrong. 😕

I like that idea for Season 3 but Ariel also has to be involved!

So many ideas and thoughts, and I think seeing the fairy tale characters out in the real world would provide tons more of fun scenes ala Gold in the airport. Just imagine Grumpy….anywhere.

Anyway, what exactly does “your kind” mean to Tamara and Greg? What kind is that?
Does she mean people not born on earth? Magical people and mythical creatures? Or even more creepily, fairy tale characters brought to life who only think they are people?
This doesn’t rule out Tamara being Robin Hood’s daughter, because it is possible Tamara knows but is willing to die for her cause, or she doesn’t know about her background but was raised to hate magic in an ironic twist.

That leads me to this–what if Tamara was sent through like Emma with one of the beans that “got away” from BF, but was adopted by the Home Office people. We have yet to see how Henry ended up in SB, so they could do a parallel story on her background and Henry’s next season. I don’t expect Tamara to be around much, mind you, but like Cora, I expect there’ll be a pity party for her before she’s gone.

We’ve already seen Rumpel’s not in vengeance mode to lay the smack down on her. I’d like Hook to be in part motivated by Bae’s “death”, with his switch but I also don’t want him going down the dark vengeance path yet again. This is where I expected him to turn the corner and join the good guys. Someone will get their Goat (hah hah) soon enough, but I don’t want Rumpel or Hook to get lost in the anger again.

    That would be fun.

Some of us speculated that maybe people from curse-afflicted worlds organized the Home Office to destroy magic after it stole away people like Whale. So Igor could be one of those people. That could be a great way to bring in the steam punk and connect back to a dangling plot thread.

But when Gold used the globe he stated Belfire’s name then.

Rumpel always knew Bae’s name of course, so it isn’t just that knowing a person’s name means he can pinpoint where they are. There must be more to it, so the trigger theory was that when someone says the name, Rumpel’s magic or the Shadow’s magic might have been able to pick up a trail. What’s the point of Rumpel tracking if he himself is the one saying the name? It has to be someone else saying it.

When Gold used the globe, the blood was what led him to Bae, not someone saying Bae out in NY or Gold saying Bae in his shop. Of course, by then his son was going by Neal, so no one was calling him by a name Rumpel could track.

Ok, back on that name thing Henry was in NY and looking at the mail boxes he stated Belfire and nothing happened so I don’t think the name thing works. August with the typewriter he was a writer so he tried to make it more dramatic so Neal would listen.

At that point though Rumpel did not have his magic.
