ParticipantHe has to be a regular, right? If it is not confirmed then it is probably to create suspense if the story arc puts him in a precarious spot. But it must have been confirmed!

What if she just erases his memory of the last two years, so his last memory is of events just before Mary Margaret gave him the book?
Oh! That is diaboical–if that is not what happens, I bet A & E would say “wish we thought of it”

ParticipantWhat about Mo? He was beastly to Belle by trying to control her and take her memory.
I don’t hate him, but I see how someone might. I hated Cora for basically a parallel thing–killing Daniel to control Regina. He wasn’t as bad, but if his plan had succeeded he would have in a way “killed” his own daughter, at least, her awareness of herself as Belle. I know he did that out of fear and love for her though, not out of a misguided notion that power is all that matters for happiness as in Cora’s case.
Belle had to make a point so she told him she never wanted to see him or Rumpel again. Yet if it ends that way, with her only having forgiven Rumpel, I think it is kind of sad, especially for a character who can see the good in people. Quite a contrast again to the loving relationship between BATB animated Belle and her ditzy but well-meaning father.

I agree. I think GOAT have Hook up in the clock tower with his little spy glass making lists of people and relationships and maybe powers?
That seems like such a waste of his talents! Then again, GOAT aren’t going to trust him, but I thought they wanted him for “dirty work” not “ground work”.

ParticipantHappy belated Bday–what a great party and awesome cake!
There’s edible paper and even some grocery stores or other big bakeries will take any image and put on your cake for you. What a neat idea to do that for a OUAT cake though.

She wants Mr Gold to be her “sugar daddy”. Support her barfly way of life– drinking and no one messing with her. But still be able to hang out at the Rabbit Hole.
Well of course Regina made Lacey to be a Golddigger.
Sorry, I had to say that pun. 😆

ParticipantYes, he does give off classic sleazeball. Bet he wanted Graham’s job–he would have considered Regina’s “council meetings” a job perk.
Actually back in S1 there is a scene when David is missing and Graham radios for “all available units” sort of implied there were other officers but no idea where any of them are because Emma seemed like the only deputy.

ParticipantI’m not sure about what it would mean if Henry could block Regina’s spells.
I’m still doubtful that Emma’s magic is more because of True Love than her role as savior. I know, Rumpel tells her that she is the product of true love, so going on what he says, that’s where we are supposed to think her magic comes from.Normally I rely more on things said in the show, than what the writers reveal somewhere else, but I was just listening to the official podcast where A&E say Henry is the product of light and dark magic. Plus I remember what writer Jane Epenson (I know spelled her name wrong) said something like we shouldn’t expect to see Ella’s baby do anything special even though she’s a true love baby. That seems backed up by the way Snow White and David are the product of true love, but don’t seem to have magic like Emma.
Another idea of course is that Emma is extra-special as she’s the product of true love through 2 generations….and we know that couldn’t apply to Henry, since Bae wasn’t the product of true love himself.
It’s funny though, thinking about Henry and the Kid Hero trope, he’s hitting all the highlights except for home destroyed but that may be on the way!

Very nicely laid out, Hookian. While I’m not 100% sold on the Hook = Pan theory, I still look forward to seeing what happens!
^This.
The theory combined with the idea Hookian had that Hook will be left to face Malli makes me wonder, if maybe Malli was Regina’s “Plan B” for wiping out Storybrooke. Why did Regina bring her over, and why did Rumpel want to hide the true love potion in her specifically? How was she Regina’s “only friend”….I fear these plot points will be dropped. If Hook does have to face her, I imagine she’ll get dispatched pretty quick and that will be the end of her.

I can kinda see Hook and Regina having a fling, but I suspect that they’ll have way, way too many trust issues to get very far. Neither likes people who double-cross them, and both have a strong propensity to double-cross others. And they’ve already done that to each other a couple of times–Hook sided with Cora against Regina after agreeing to help Regina, and Regina sided with Cora against Hook when he thought they were working together. The two of them are also very flirty people and the flirting between them has been very minimal in comparison to other people they’ve talked to…which is interesting.
Some good observations there, especially about their propensity for double-crosses, and how they both turn off the flirting with each other.
And as I was about to post that, I saw Beastwhisper’s post. The way you write up the potential of those two together does make the idea sound compelling, but I still fear they would end up in more darkness together. Anyway, for the betrayal, that could work–a complex situation no matter how it plays out when these two characters cross paths!
