ParticipantThe stuff with Graham sounds like they are going to do some “magical loophole” thing to bring back someone–and probably it is Rumple as they’re very much trying to hint he’s just “Dark One” and Rumple the man is dead.

Participant@OUATSpoilers @rochiss271 No, I haven't; he could be working in studio or one of the locations I didn't go to (I don't do them all)

Interesting tidbit there

ParticipantArtsdeeva:
You get candy, thank you for the beautiful picture. And for Schmacky too, love that edit you did of the poster!
Remember, believe the impossible, believe strength comes from unexpected places, and believe in second chances. The writers may not control the promos, but I have a feeling there’s more strategy at work than just pure insulting incompetence (that photo-shop smoke aside, and the Happy Eddigs picture they deleted). The poster is beautiful but just as Pepper and Jane don’t feature on the Avengers team pictures, our “love interests” also do not as they’re not part of the action heroes, but are the “reasons” the heroes do what they do. Hook’s all alone in the center there, not really on a side and I don’t know it feels ominous to me really.

ParticipantRemember my little theory about Henry, Belle and Neal being the supporting character “love interests”? I think its still a valid explanation for why they are not on the poster. They are supporting characters, doesn’t mean they are expendable characters.

ParticipantI agree Happy Endings. I hope Eduardo the Costume designer has his game on. I didn’t like the short ball gown ones though I sort of understood it for showing off the legs purposes for the newly tail-less mermaid!

ParticipantOnce you assume a magical flying monkey is running around N Y disguised as a man who wants to date Emma? Age is the least of the problems. The Darlings were supposedly running around the real world when Henry was a baby yet a decade and a bit later, don’t appear to have aged at all. Maybe they went back and forth to NL, but we really don’t know how they managed to stay so young so maybe its the same spell for Walsh (magical juice cleanse?).
As for a flying monkey escaping the curse, it could be like the shadow or mermaids that can hop across worlds seemingly at will. Perhaps the monkey was spying on the EF to verify certain things and narrowly escaped, or was caught up, but Walsh is a different one sent at a different time. I’m expecting there to be an army of them after all!
That brings me to something we’ve mentioned as a plot hole: If there’s other ways to travel to the World Without Magic: Why didn’t Rumple use those things? I think the answer is he didn’t know where or when to go, except it was a land without magic and there may be multiple ones of those. The curse had powerful magic that he altered to bring him as close as possible as part of its purpose. Yet even then, he had no idea how old or what Bae would even look like or be like.
So I wonder if Rumple did mentor Zelena, how much would she know about where/when things would go down for the curse? I’m not sure she sent Walsh 50 years ago but I think more likely she sees everyone on their return and that is when she sent Walsh. Perhaps Neal using the Crystal Ball to see Emma catches Zelena’s eyes too and it leads to trouble?
I do like the idea she’s more reserved and calculating and less impulsive. I hope that is true.

ParticipantTechnically it was not ship related but…it kind of was. Leo and Eva! Now we need a cute name–just in time to find Leo really loved Cora or Eva messed around with Henry Sr or what not for the twist.

ParticipantA&E mentioned having written the ending of 311 before other parts of the season, so stands to reason they could have done the same here, whether it is filmed or not. They have on occasion been sneaky even if we outsmart them sometimes. Ultimately though, we can only guess at so much because we don’t know the scripts, and this is a show with magic, dream sequences, and sometimes very nuanced writing where even for scenes we all see, sometimes we don’t agree on what just happened in them.
So when it comes to spoilers, there are many people in between us and that information. Some of whom aren’t motivated to be all that truthful or complete about what they report because they want more hits or they have a certain bias to what they see or think they see. All I know is, VCF had that Emma and Walsh video for ages and didn’t leak the scoop about the romance until after it was known from other sources, plus already known its likely a doomed romance (can’t see Emma monkeying around for long anyway!).
I think a lot of fans would feel as I do that a character who’s already been off-screen like Frankenstein or Ruby would be easier to take, and I would feel more relieved at that then annoyed/disappointed that a more central character was spared despite the hype. I don’t see Mittovich lying on purpose but at the same time, A&E choose words very carefully and are at times so coy about things that it would be easy for them to let people have the wrong impression because that’s what they want. They were giddy with everyone thinking Killipan and Nealfirepan–when it was Papa Pan (and who knows when they really decided on that plot anyway in full, having shot and discarded a scene where Papa Pan 1.0 dies).
As fans we like to think of things in certain ways, but ultimately I come back to the fact Adam isn’t just a writer but is a producer working in Hollywood. He has certain constraints to deal with and we’ll never really know everything unless they tell us in an interview, and even then, maybe not. Looking back at LOST, it seems like there are a lot of things they were forced to do by outside forces, including fan and actor demands, not really a creative decision, and its just as likely to be true for this show. The dirt’s out there for a lot of things that happened on LOST because it was long enough ago. OUAT is still ongoing.

ParticipantI think Happy Endings is correct that Mal was trapped before the curse happened. Adam tweeted something along those lines I think but not sure I can find it.
So if that is the case, that mysterious flying thing might indeed be a monkey, which makes me kind of excited if the writers really did plan all this out that far back.
She looks very grey and the flying thing is definitely more light brown and tan.
Maybe someone with better photo software skills can enlarge the image of the flying thing?
