I’ve been wondering about the political structure too. Regina introduces herself to Greg as the Mayor, and I think the problem is officially she still is, because no one ever officially removed her. She certainly isn’t going to give up the title.

Tamara does not seem like the type to be intimidated, but I am not sure she prefers to avoid confrontation. She was willing to let August take her car and leave SB, when she tried to bribe him to leave, but showed no hesitation with the Dragon. Now I am not sure what reason the writers have within the story for why she did not just magic zap him right away. The meta reason of course is so we get that dramatic redemption back to boy moment.

Maybe Henry is sending himself to the “land without magic” his father were first; Neverland? Not neccesarily in this very episode, but that could be a way to settle the plot to the season finale.

This sounds very plausible, and has a very nice tie back to the start of the series.

Ausiello had a spoiler that we would never guess where Hook would pop up next. What if it is at that moment? (I know it is a tiny cake and totally wrong sort of occasion for him to pop out of the cake. Maybe he got his hands on some of those wonderland mushrooms Cora had, shrunk himself down and escaped the closet. There is also the tiny Pirate ship that Gold has….that would be sort of funny a small Hook hiding out there, waiting for the effect to wear off…)

Well if we are not supposed to see Peter Pan this season it makes sense. The show Smallville had 10 seasons out of the “before” story of Superman with a “no tights no flights” rule. H&K could easily have something similar in mind for the rest of this season.

I don’t just think the actors of OUAT were taking a joy ride on the Jolly Roger. From the looks of it, they were there filming, in toe with make-up artists, film crew, and camera equipment. I believe the characters are headed on a journey, and the likeliest destination is Neverland.

I would not have mentioned that characters could be in the boat rather than shown on it if I thought the actors were just joyriding for the heck of it. My question really was if all the pictures were of actual scenes or if some might have been of actors between takes? I was wondering if the set of people on the boat to Neverland could be both greater or smaller than we might guess from just those pictures.

Again, I never said they couldn’t afford to show Neverland. I just doubted whether they would abandon the real world setting. They obviously had a budget for all the flashback stuff in the enchanted forest and wonderland, so Neverland is no different for them to pull off.
Disney may be big, but every show has a budget set within the advertising revenues the network expects to make. Don’t worry, they can do a lot on that budget, as these first two seasons have shown us. But they do have limits. It’s why they could not actually film Manhattan IN Manhattan. It was cheaper to use Gastown and CGI in the NY background. It was not because they did not want or think to go to real NY, since they did for Broken. So I am sure they will spend a fair amount of the budget to make Neverland awesome, but I am still expecting scenes back in the real world.

So I clicked to see the picture, accidentally scrolled down a bit. I saw this text:

This shows that, in telling the story of Peter Pan, to begin with the goat (as most people do) is as silly as to put on your jacket before your vest.

This makes me 😆 about the nickname I used for GregOwen and Tamara, GOAT.
