ParticipantOk I want to make a happier one than this but sometimes, you just have to roll your eyes and let out a little steam at fandom antics.
Here you go:

ParticipantOk I need help to get this to display embedded because I’m attaching the file.
Schmacky got some flack for adding a slogan to that explosion picture, which really is so ironic considering the point of the slogan was “let’s have fun, and not be so gloomy”, and secondly all fan works are skirting that line between “editorial fair use” and straight up stealing someone else’s copyrighted image. Some are just blatantly over that line! In any case, she didn’t remove the watermark of the artist or claim original picture credit or anything so it was just sad that happened and makes me feel like ….WE NEED A NEW PICTURE.
I adore the boom picture, but in the meantime, here’s another one to use !

ParticipantI think she could be a young Dorothy that Neal met either in the Land Without Magic or Oz. The only trouble is, if its MRJ and not Dylan, his age seems wonky. He was frozen in NL for many years at 14 then at some point began to age normally again. We just don’t know when or if it was all continuously that way. We can assume people do not age in Oz as it is that way in the books of Oz.
So possibly 14 year old Bae leaves NL and lands in the “World without Magic” by shadow express. They can then show the next scene with the words saying “6 years later” (instead of the 6 months they did in SSTR) so that MRJ is playing a 20 year old Bae or something, when he meets Dorothy. This happens about 50 to 60 years before “present day”. He’ll give her the alias Neal Cassidy. As with the Darlings its just his luck that magic comes and finds him. Somehow, a twister takes him and Dorothy to Oz. There they meet Zelena and have adventures, but Dorothy is able to take the shoes and escape back to home, leaving Neal stuck there until around the time he escapes Oz in time to have met Emma in Portland.
Its off with the timing of Rumple’s conversation with Jefferson but that might have just been purely “staged” conversation as the whole point of Jefferson being there was to fool Regina anyway about Frankenstein to give her false hope then yank it away.

ParticipantIf they do that it means Regina married the man her mother had a daughter with, and I think it is too much ick for me. Incest is “in” I suppose with Flowers in the Attic gaining new cultural notoriety and of course Game of Throne’s Cersi and Jaimie but those are both intended to be dark, twisted stories rather than the more hopeful “happy endings” fairy tale tone that I sought in OUAT. The show does have its dark moments and twists but I guess all I can do is hope they won’t do it, because I can’t logically say they wouldn’t.
Besides the ick, it is just all kinds of “retconny” (how could he not recognize Cora years later when agreeing to marry her daughter?!)
Neal being Zelena’s half brother and therefore Regina and Neal are half-brother and sister is also a little icky but less than the above in my opinion. If Henry’s father is the half-brother of his mother’s step-grandmother it sounds bad but its not like Neal and Regina ever knew each other or treated each other like siblings, nor did Regina ever treat Emma as a step-granddaughter or think of Henry as other than her adopted son. I don’t know its just weird still.
Honestly the only combination that doesn’t “ick” me out a little is if EVA is related to Zelena, which makes Regina and Snow related (cousins), without the added ick factor. Eva’s brother could be Zelena’s father and the Wizard of Oz perhaps. It might explain Eva tripping Cora all those years ago , if she thought of her as “that tart who had the gall to break my brother’s heart”, not knowing the whole story perhaps of how Cora was pregnant, and run off by the royal parents. I don’t now, still soap-operaish but maybe a touch better.

ParticipantJust noticed something but Emma’s clothing in the last batch has her in a wool coat again, and a jean jacket. Those are things Neal wears and she’s worn around Neal! In the Tallahassee flashback she has one over her dress in the car, and of course in Manhattan she’s all in wool coats just like Neal ‘s wearing those. Oh, shippy silliness to point that out but….More #Boom Less Gloom.

ParticipantI think he could as he’s essentially done it before. If he gets a larger role than he has had on OUAT, one that appeals to him personally, then he may want to do it. OUAT can cover a lot by saying Henry is t school or something, or perhaps GG will also want to scale back her time as she’s pregnant–so “Oh Henry and SNow are at Grannys!” something like that. Then there’s this, they have some cute tyke factor ready to go if they use that Roland kid more if that’s what they want to do and Gilmore was already in the transition to tween rather than just cute moppet.
Still I don’t think he’s looking to hop shows right now, as they’ve given him some great material lately (getting to be Pan! playing a new more NYC version of Henry?).

ParticipantI like it too. Bouncing Sleeping Curse. Perfect. In desperation, PhilAurora come clean and the Charmings try to save them from Doom somehow but “All Magic Comes with a Price” and…something Wicked this way comes.

ParticipantI wish I could make videos because I’d do one to this song for Neal and Emma. I’m not sure of MRJ’s taste in music but when they were joking about making mix tapes for Emma, this song seems like how Neal would feel about her.
“Always something there to remind me” by Naked Eyes.I walk along the city streets you used to walk along with me,
and every step I take reminds me of just how we used to be.
Well, how can I forget you, girl?
When there is always something there to remind me.
always something there to remind me.
As shadows fall, I pass a small cafe where we would dance at night.
And I can’t help recalling how it how it felt to kiss and hold you tight
Well, how can I forget you, girl?
When there is always something there to remind me.
always something there to remind me.
I was born to love her, and I’ll never be free.
You’ll always be a part of me.If you should find you miss the sweet and tender love we used to share.
Just go back to the places where we used to go, and I’ll be there
Well, how can I forget you, girl?

ParticipantI agree Oniongirl! Maybe they went to Zelena for help out of Oz and the price was their firstborn, just like Rumple’s deals but also as in the story of Rapunzel. Maybe that leads to them wanting to find Rapunzel who was a previous price paid to Zelena?
