ParticipantReadytoRumbelle–very good point, there usually ARE subplots, because having so many main characters on screen at one point can be unwieldy. Remember their chorus line walking around NL?
It’s hard to have dialog and meaningful conversations the more characters are in the scene. So I am hoping there IS some B storyline especially because at some point, instead of just flashing back to the year that’s missing, maybe they will cut between action in present day SB in different locations.
I also keep wondering but, do they ever do second unit filming? Perhaps they have a need to compress the filming season to get in GG’s scenes, and the extra awful weather this year (not sure how much Polar Vortex of doom hit Vancouver )–maybe they’ve had days where some folks are outside but meanwhile others are in studio with a 2nd assistant director. We used to get more scenes outside because they used more actual buildings in the town, but we know after the last time they “destroyed” SB, they rebuilt a lot in the studio. It’s likely set-reports and such go where the outside action is because they can see things and get pictures rather than sticking to outside the studios that are kind of a black box for information.

ParticipantI also hope Leo’s not the baby daddy. I don’t mind quite as much if it is a character we never met, like Eva’s brother who is also the Wizard of Oz or something like that. The fact they’re bringing young Leo and talking about him looking for love, less about young Eva though, makes me nervous! Cora didn’t even seem to act like she and Leo ever met before so I desperately hope this is not the direction. I’m mixed on Rumple, because I could see him having a blind spot and Cora lying and manipulating him from the moment they met.

ParticipantI think it is going to shoot in Vancouver.

ParticipantCasper-& Phee: Since no one has claimed marrying those posts yet:
Thanks, we need a dash of hope and a reminder now and again that obstacles are to be expected and things aren’t always what they seem.

ParticipantSounds like they become traveling companions I think. That is kind of new I guess?

ParticipantI find it disappointing too, but I guess that’s the way it goes. What makes so much sense to us sometimes just doesn’t seem to be what they have in mind at all! I do hope we get that story of who taught Snow and her dark fairy dust sometime though.
Merida would be fun! Maybe that’s Rumple’s mother :P.

ParticipantI’ve got it, the WWW’s real evil plan is revealed inside the cannery, where she’s canning green peas. It’s the Princess and the Pea!
I love the princess & the pea! It also solves the mystery of her green skin. She’s so obsessed with peas, she turns green kind of like if you eat too many carrots, you turn orange. Lol!
Exactly! She’s going to try to force feed the whole world peas. She’s secretly in league with the Green Giant and they’re bent on world domination, of the vegetable market !

ParticipantThey tried to do Wonder Woman a few years ago and then there were so many negative comments on the pilot they shelved it.
2011 Wonder Woma
We can hope though maybe someday they’ll find an approach that works!

ParticipantI hope they do this at some point, what a great idea. The fold out map in the book with the stories, and then index about the show characters would be perfect. Then photos of the costumes perhaps, interviews with the visual artists who help make this show. We get lots of cast/crew things but I love the art design too.
