Soon as Walsh is out of his seat, Hook appears to increase the shock factor for Emma even more. She gets up to go see the apartment, running out on Walsh. Walsh chases her, and says he knows he moved too fast proposing, she does not have to answer yet and kisses her head telling her to take her time. Then he says good night, leaving her staring after him or something like that.

It’s a cool name, not associated with some other take on the character. Plus we can nickname her the Big Z, sounds like a villain name right?

I’m just going to not form expectations for Walsh…other than, he’s not actually a flying monkey. I’m not sure if I’m excited or not. I have to wait to see because it all depends really on whether this whole memory reset thing is a “pick the plot up and move it fifty yards away on another track” thing to avoid having to DEVELOP characters to a point or if it will play out and build on what we saw from seasons past, not just 3 but the first 2 also. WHen you start a new chapter it is not supposed to be an entirely new story. So cautiously, I wait. I am happy that MRJ liked the BOOM poster though.

Hey you notice how Ausiello says “The Good news” is that Neal wants to reunite with Emma? That’s good news to me. I know the rest sounds a little ominous but by now I think with Rumbelle separated, the writers definitely aren’t going to risk that wrath to put Neal and Emma together that easily right? So something kind of HAS to separate them, but we have to hope it gets resolved sooner rather than later. Until then, at least Neal doesn’t have to deal with feeling jealous of Walsh (monkey or not). On the other hand, I think that’s the point.
Shipping wise, I think Walsh is there to illustrate a sort of dark side to Hook, that he is possessive and jealous. I can’t see Neal reacting that way really, given he said he’d quit bugging Emma, knowing he was engaged to Tamara, and the way he apologized. Of course, if they’re delaying Emma and Neal from reuniting until she has her memory back, then chances are, Neal won’t have to deal with Walsh at all. So what we get out of it is that Hook is on a different page than Emma far as emotions go, and she’s maybe not even in the same book. I suppose we wait to see and hope we’re right about Hook giving Emma Neal’s apartment # and the dreamcatcher and other things convincing her to drink the potion.

I think that could be true that the “Book” was written by the WWW…I’ve been wondering if it was HER curse that Regina stole and cast–the person who makes Maleficient and EQ look “positively moral”. We all sort of assumed it was Pan or Rumple, but …maybe it was originally who knows but the writers take spaces and fill in different ways, leave room to shape their story.

I tried to find the original tweets to link here, but on a Tumblr site someone said Donal Logue was tweeting about visiting/meeting Mikey in Vancouver. I’d like to see the context myself but Donal tweets a lot so just scrolling for Mikey didn’t turn up anything. Maybe someone is a better twitter detective than I am to find out what the person meant. It’d be a little hopeful sign to know Mikey was in Vancouver right? Donal was MRJ’s co-star in his show Terriers on FX.

Saying a character is “like” a classic character in some ways, doesn’t mean they ARE that character, but are playing that role in spirit in some way. So in the sense of searching for her home, Emma becomes Dorothy but she is NOT Dorothy and likely there will BE a Dorothy if we’re right about the old lady with the basket in the 3.16 showdown scene.
Just the same way Neal didn’t turn out to be Pan, but in the sense of being a boy who befriends Wendy by climbing in her window, and being her friend that she wants to give a family to and protect, then yes he was like the classic character (not OUAT’s twisted Dark Pan though!).
It may be that we don’t know it, but Emma is somehow related to Dorothy too, perhaps Gorham is her new boyfriend and Dorothy’s son, or her foster brother and they were both fostered by Dorothy or something. We think we’ve spied an older actress carrying a basket, in the showdown scene so maybe real Dorothy will pop up just like real Pan did.
