We don’t know what’s happening in the “new” curse land environment when Wicked is pretending to be people’s friends. I don’t know about that promo art, but I was talking about the new article and its implication that Wicked integrates herself and hides in plain sight amongst our SB folks until the big reveal later. I thought Belle might be one of several people who makes a new “friend” only to find out its the Wicked witch.
I wasn’t talking about that picture specifically so probably shouldn’t have quoted Watcher’s post but wanted to acknowledge the idea of Wicked maybe befriending and betraying people as the new article suggests that will happen.

This! I said the candle thing seemed very Lumiere-like in the chat last night and it went virtually ignored v.v I’m glad I’m not the only one who noticed
It seems very random and put in place to me, as if to say LOOK AT ME!! they said the witch would have connections to SEVERAL characters… Who’s to say Belle never met her? Who’s to say she wasn’t the one who turned Lumiere into a candle thing (I can’t spell the appropriate word >>) the witch wont just be connected to Regina so I think it’s all possible. Also, I would like to place a 100 cookie bet that the candle stick thing is either important or its lumeire v.v With the newest article, that sounds about right, that for the time in SB without memories, the Witch has sidled up to them and become their friend. Were you the one (or was it Wicked Regal) who said she’d be the principal? I think that’s true!
In SB, without recalling the year in EF, they will all befriend the WW, and it will come as a big shock and betrayal when she reveals herself as the one who cursed them and a bigger shock when she reveals she has the Dark One ‘s dagger and him under her control.
I’m not sure yet about the “monkey transformation vampire” type idea but Cora had zombies, plus in the Baum Oz book there’s a GOLDEN cap to control them and we suspect Wicked has Mr. GOld aka Dark One Rumplestilskin under her green thumb.
So I could see that happening. So I think the one they can’t trust is WIcked’s alter-ego, but given the promotion of Mader the writers aren’t expecting that to be a big shock. They didn’t promote that she has Gold, so that’s a spoiler we aren’t supposed to know.

I had a thought that SB would be recreated in Kansas not Maine, but someone said the episode description for 312 said “little town in maine” again. So now I wonder, if Wicked reactivates the curse somehow, in order to use her magic Yellow Brick Road to go from Maine to Kansas, to carry out her revenge (that’s been on hold) to get to Dorothy. While Regina tries to stop Wicked, and thus ends up getting to the top of Wicked’s revenge list, even above Dorothy for having stolen the curse, and for other things (WickedSisters?).
So maybe this is a different road in the town from the usual one we see for that reason–maybe it is what’s left behind from the YBR.

Weird What if, but what if the WWW turns Neal into a flying monkey? How does she get those anyway? Imagine if he’s made her pet and cursed and that’s why he doesn’t come after Emma, or alternatively, he tries to cross the town line and ends up in a coma just like David in S1.

I agree, she never lost her powers, just Henry Sr. wasn’t a prince anymore –or if he was, somehow it didn’t make Regina princess as she wasn’t introduced as such to Leo. So confused by what storyline they are going to tell here. I just don’t want Cora/Leo or Cora/ Rumple baby but if the writers are going that route, well wouldn’t shock me that they would. At this point I wouldn’t be shocked to learn of any more kinks in the family tree.

The way they said “gift’ in quotes implied it wasn’t really a gift, and its a big spoiler so it has to be something obvious to someone who doesn’t know the plot going on why it is a spoiler.
That is why I think a body maybe or something they’d have a prop for. Maybe they would have a prop heart (can’t tell if those are CGI) in a box that is bleeding through the paper.
I think with the weather maybe they got behind on filming? One of the picture takers suggested they are filming out of order for some reason.
I wonder if that ‘s an actual house and the owner couldn’t make it available, or with the weather, they couldn’t really do the outside shots they wanted last week.

We have no way to know what story A&E want to tell here, no matter what they say about “sticking to their vision” one minute, and “pleasing the fans” the next. It’s television. The story sadly isn’t likely to be paramount compared to ratings and with the marketing hype the way it is, I can’t help but sigh because I”ve seen it happen in too many TV shows. This show felt different for some reason.
RG–YES YES YES. Those people who keep inventing reasons to hate him work very hard at it but the show so far doesn’t seem to really present him in that negative light in terms of other character’s reactions to him.
