Well if the story demands it in the way it demanded GOAT dying (i.e. they were annoying and people didn’t like them ) or August dying (actor wasn’t available and wanted to wrap it up) that gives me zero confidence here that this is truly something that will feel some amount of resonance in the story rather than a cheap ploy to up the emotional stakes while pruning off their messy love triangle. If the writing is bad, then I cannot keep going and they haven’t been hitting it out of the park in terms of mythology reveals, character consistency or even just “fun to watch” factor. I’ve felt it was very uneven in general.

There’s so much spin from Adam, from fans, from the media that I don’t really know what to think now. Adam talks about how it is #truth that everyone gets along but then we see J.Mo “resenting” that Coleman spoke out of turn. I see the bad writing with plot points left unresolved, characters who flip flop, plot devices used to force conversations that the writers cannot figure out how to write naturally. Ory leaving because they dropped her plot line. Things side stepped or swept under a rug, because it would remind the casual audience of some less than pleasant aspect of a character’s nature. Maybe they won’t just kill Neal but do the recton of all retcons and he turns out not to really be Bae, but a conman who pretended to be Bae and fooled everyone as part of the home office and the REAL bae is still a cute teen tyke to be played by Dylan Schmidt who everyone loved who was cloned and kept hostage by the http://WWW. I think at this point I am anticipating watching only to “enjoy” it in the way Jo and RG enjoy Dracula (which I can’t even begin to start watching as it sounds too campy to even mock!). I’ll wait though until 3 episodes in I think.

Hm …their casting department is uncanny, and I think it probably is him. He was in V he says, but I can’t place him !

I know, but I can’t think of it except as alternate universe now. Ariel and Eric are so sweet, and Hook’s gone in a different direction as well and for all we know, they WILL make Ariel his mother now. I wouldn’t be surprised. Nothing surprises me now with this show. Papa Pan was on the table, so anything else could be as well.

I don’t think they’re bringing back young Eva for nothing. Old Leo did seem to have dearly loved Eva so I’m thinking she is who he chose to marry for love, but trying to work out where Cora (who’d already have had to be with Henry Sr) would fit in. Would Cora have tried to arrange a marriage of her infant daughter to guy in his 30’s? I’d think so. She’d also be spitting mad if he chose Eva instead, but I do think Wicked has to fit in here somewhere.
I’m leaning towards she’s Cora’s mentor who Cora turned to because she needed to gain an advantage over Rumple.

I don’t think hearts were switched, but possibly their fate is tied in the same way Pan and Rumple’s may have been. They never did properly explain why Rumple had to die if Pan did. Also, how did Pan have 2 hearts anyway when he took out Henry’s? I don’t know if we will get an explanation.
What I do think is there could be a connection between the dagger’s origin and WWW or her world of Oz. So there may be a similar bound fate between Wicked and Regina. If one dies, the other will too, and it might have to do with Eva/Cora/Leo and our theory knocking around that somehow WWW ended up with her greenskin due to something Cora did to help out Regina in someway.
Perhaps WWW needs the dagger/Dark One to unbind her fate from Regina, at which point she can kill Regina (or she can be killed) but up until then, WWW is sort of protected because what happens to her will also happen to Regina.
I’m not predicting that Regina will die, just that it will be teased throughout the episode in the same way Rumple dying was teased throughout the last season. I think they will find a way to unbind the tie in some way so they can go after Wicked without harming Regina.

Yes, there’ll be some good edits for alternate universe crack ship for sure. People are really talented, even before we had any footage of Ariel what they came up with for a story giftset!

I think maybe WwW and Leo were in love, but for political reasons he married Eva? WWW and Cora became friends, each wanting to kill Eva, but then Cora had Regina marry Leo. And Regina killed Leo. That would be a reason for revenge?
