ParticipantI hope so, because really it is kind of fun to play the guessing game even if it sometimes spoils things (like Pan = Malcolm) that might have been a huge “didn’t see that coming but it totally makes sense” kind of shock.

ParticipantRumple kind of married his dad (ick!) personality-wise. Wonder if his mother was more like Cora or Belle? What happened to her?

ParticipantHm I could see half-sisters that way, and let’s face it, the ruthlessness wasn’t just from Cora’s side (see Xavier). Then again, Henry Sr. seemed really sweet. So better more twisted yet–Henry. Sr wasn’t Regina’s father but her half brother, because Xavier and Cora had an affair, and Xavier of course had many other mistresses. Just how soapy do they want to get!

ParticipantI was joking in chat the Witch should say “I’ll get you Regina and Emma and your little Henry Too!”.
Not that Henry is a dog, but ….apologies to Pongo, I want Henry to get in on more story this time! Operation Toto.

ParticipantIt’s going to be a long hiatus! I might take a long break because speculation ought to be fun, and it feels like right now, we’re just feeding off the same old scraps of information, and it is bringing out a certain amount false conviction that I just can’t even begin to spare the energy to discuss. It’s nothing new really, a lot of taking things way out of context and making wild leaps comparing two things while ignoring a lot of the differences.
My daughter had this book, called “Apples and Oranges, going bananas with pairs.” It takes two things like say, how are a motorcycle and a bike alike? Then the page shows a picture of these two things in a bank with the caption “They both don’t work in a bank.” I feel a bit like that’s the level of comparison we’re dealing with. Lots of things are similar in some ways and different in others and without putting much thought into it, anyone can twist scenes to seem like they’re telling a story they aren’t really intended by the writers to tell.

ParticipantWow that poem is interesting for this context. “Props” to the Prop makers indeed!
I think the writers have something special in mind for Rumple’s return. At least I hope it is more epic than Blue’s pop up out of the coffin (offscreen) and explain that apparently dead does not mean dead if you died by shadow rip, and are a sneaky fairy.

ParticipantHm, didn’t the scroll of the curse say something about a lion in latin? Cinders you may be onto something with the notion of Emma as Dorothy and the storytale being realtime.
The end of PP was realtime–the “croc” killed Pan just like in the Disney version it gets James “Permed Curls” Hook–well they vanished anyway.

ParticipantSorry to hear that Obisgirl–the ABC website looks like it has episodes to Dark Hollow still up maybe.

ParticipantI included the link but for some reason the hyperlink I typed in didn’t work, so that is why it says “Source URL” instead of actually being a link to the url in the hyperlink. I apologize for doing that incorrectly but it seemed like a glitch from Caspar-Peeves our friendly forum ghost because it looked right in the edit screen. I still think that zooming in on the central part of the frame might create a misleading impression about Robin, but we will have to wait and see. Right now that is the only clue we have so I suppose it is fair to assume the person on the stretcher is important to him, and I imagine there are many other characters before Neal that I would think of as close to RH. I think it could be a merry man because they are expendable story-telling wise if they need to establish a serious deadly threat. Just not a named one like Little John or Friar Tuck please (and definitely we know it is not Will Scarlett!).
I agree Cinders–except the Solutions packet probably has characters we have not even met yet in it and weapons we do not even know exist (like magical tasers!).
Let’s have fun guessing, and respect that many things are possible right now and all we know for sure is we know nothing for sure.

ParticipantI saw a fan theory that “True North” with Mr. K Krysowski is Kris Kringle –doesn’t trade kids, but gives them gifts or coal, keeps records on them.
