Yeah, I don’t like the pandering to both sides myself, but accept that it’s necessary. But at the end of the day, it’s going to make the story of The Pirate and The Swan that much better, and soooooo much more satisfying!
I personally don’t ship Neal with Regina, but there are a lot of similarities there. I do have a soft spot for DarlingFire however – the scenes in 2×21 between Bae and Wendy gave me the warm fuzzies! I’m pretty sure he would have married her if PP hadn’t taken him to NL. In the end I do want Neal to be happy, but it shouldn’t be with Emma, and to be honest from a non-shipper standpoint they aren’t setting it up that way IMO.
You’re not wrong. That’s exactly how Tallahassee was setup, and that’s how Snow Falls (the episode Tallahassee closely parallels from season one is written).
Yeah 🙂 it just makes for a better story too, that we see her love interest, every interaction between them, from beginning to end.

I think you definitely raise some interesting points I’ve never even given a second thought to. But I don’t know if the Fairy Godmother wanted Cinderella to go to another land…. She said that it would take her “to her prince” and her Prince was in the Enchanted Forest. That kind of raises another question though – do fairies have precognition abilities?

Also, a random thought i’ve been thinking lately: Doesn’t it make more sense to have the main character, the incarnation of TL, to have her love story spelled out from beginning to end, moment by moment?? Swanfire’s relationship is rooted in the past, while Captain Swan’s is currently happening in the present. That says it all I think. But that’s just my opinion.

Actions are DEFINITELY more important to Emma than words. Remember Emma said that to MM at some stage about David? Something about “it’s one thing to say that he wants you, another to actually choose”.

I can believe that Snow loves Regina, or else she wouldn’t have given her countless chances. However, I have a much harder time believing that Regina loves Snow.
Hm wouldn’t have been so sure about Snow loving Regina to be honest. She used her to kill her own mother :/
