Something else I’ve read in relation to a spoiler: Neal was the reason Emma had to give up her baby, and Killian is the one who’s going to help her find her baby again. from the lovely montana Of course, the latter is only speculation but it would make for an epic Captain Swan romance down the road, or at least the beginnings of one.
It would!!! Hopefully we’ll get some great clues as to her feelings about Neal in the birth scene.

…. The only part of scripts that get given to people in audition phases are just little scenes that the character has. Half the time the dialogue is made up. They don’t give scripts for a whole episode until they have been cast. And for this show in particular, only regulars get the full script. Keegan Connor Tracy and Raphael Sbarge both said during their Q&A sessions at Oz Comic-con that they are only given certain parts of the script that are relevant to their Chartacters. Raphael got the full script every episode of S1 because he was a regular but that stopped at the beginning of S2 because he became re-occuring. They say that they have to go around and talk to one of the regulars if they want to find out everything that is happening.
*shrugs* He said he had it. And he seemed pretty certain the Gregmara don’t die in episode 1. Anyway, that’s why i added my little disclaimer at the end about not knowing if the info was valid.

The world is small. Very small. I just had an interesting conversation with my boss’ nephew who is visiting from the US. It turns out that he got pretty far into auditioning for one of the Lost Boys, namely Ruffio!
I asked for a few details, since he had the whole script of 3×01 in his hand. Not much, but very interesting.
1. Greg and Tamara are still alive at the end of 3×01 (shame! lol)
2. Peter Pan is apparently a reeeeally good guy. Yes you read that right. It’s the shadow that’s evil.
Obviously this info is second hand so i can’t testify to it’s validity, but it’s certainly interesting 🙂

Okay. I have finally calmed down enough to completely process some of the spoilers from yesterday.
*spoilers ahead, stop reading now if you don’t want to be spoiled*
“Including Emma, who softens (a bit) to Hook’s charms. Although Horowitz is quick to caution that it won’t be smooth sailing for that particular ‘ship. “The whole ‘ship thing is an awesome thing fans bring to the experience of watching a show, but the story we’re telling encompasses the relationships between all the characters — and the bigger emotional story as well.” Although Kitsis adds, “They think Neal’s dead, and Hook is a man who obviously likes ladies. And as we saw last year when they climbed the beanstalk, Emma has captured his heart a little bit, but Neal is fighting like hell to get a second chance with her … although Emma is focused on Henry [and] her heart has been broken too many times to worry about dating right now. But we’ll see, she’s got two handsome guys!”
Okay.
It won’t be smooth sailing for that particular ‘ship.
First of all, that sentence right there COMPLETELY rules out a casual no-strings affair between Captain Swan. Now we CS shippers already knew that, but some SF/SQ shippers are stubbornly holding on to the idea.
Secondly, Adam is emphasising that it’s going to be a struggle. And what does that bring to mind?
“A man who doesn’t fight for what he wants deserves what he gets.”
Now, if we look at the promo, we hear Charming saying:
“True love isn’t easy. But it must be fought for.”
Basically setting the tone for the whole season.
And you know who else hadn’t a smooth-sailing relationship? Snowing and Rumbelle. Parallels between these three relationships have been mentioned before.
Now I know what Adam says, that Neal is fighting for a second chance.

But what’s important about this comment is that it was said in relation to Captain Swan. What i’m getting from that is that Neal will be a barrier to the Captain Swan ‘ship. Hence the not-so-smooth sailing.
Also it’s important to note that Adam didn’t say, “he’s fighting like hell to get back to her” but that he’s fighting for a second chance WITH her. That indicates to me that Emma won’t be at all receptive to him at first.
On a similar note, @obisgirl, what i said before, about Hook stepping back for Neal? I don’t think he will anymore, so I agree with you! 😉 The more I thought about it the more I realised that it wouldn’t make sense for where his character is going. In 2×22, he chose the future, he chose hope, and if he stepped back for Bae, that would be choosing the past, choosing Milah, which would completely be at odds with him choosing to come back for Emma.
