CS’ers I’d like to apologize for the fact that it looks like I tried to edit Captain Eala’s post about a bazillion times. Technically that’s a spoiler photo in a non spoiler thread but my magic wand is apparently on the fritz or hates me so…whatevah. You get a pass.

I agree Slurpeez. There is more to Emma than being the child of true love–she is the child of prophecy, she IS the Savior (the hero!) and it will be her role in the story until the Happy Ending.
This is why I’m finding it hard to believe that Henry could be the saviour of NL since that could take away from the importance of Emma’s role.

I love the voice recording – although I wouldn’t personally say the second voice was “i love this woman” Killian haha, more like sardonic curious Killian. But Killian – not Hook! 🙂
The Jello scene is canon then, great. Good scene. Was wondering why they left it out?! I was thinking maybe it could be to do with the fact that EVERY SINGLE Captain Swan interaction last season was important, while this one wasn’t. Unless somebody can read something about CS from that scene?

and omg, that would be one beautiful baby. I think the general headcanon for the fandom is if we get a CS baby in the future, it’ll be a girl. CS baby!!! Ha! I doubt we’ll get to see it though, because i’d say CS will get together (for the second and final time hopefully) at the endgame. Maybe A+E will give us a nice epilogue??? 🙂

Okay, remember Killian’s favorite motto from The Crocodile? A man who doesn’t fight for what he wants, deserves what he gets? And from the last promo after Hook asks Emma what she’s doing, she responds with, ‘Preparing for a fight.’ And then, I just made this connection too. Remember back in 1×05, I think that was The Shepherd, Mary Margaret felt horrible for having feelings for David and said, that she feels like the worst person in the whole world? Skip ahead to Tallahassee when Hook’s trying to distract the giant from killing Emma. He refers to himself as the worst human being around. And then jumping ahead to season 2 when Snow and Charming show her the beans, and I think Snow asks if she wants her happy ending? Emma looks at the beans and she depended on a single bean in the finale to save them all.
Eek! More similar themes 😀 I love the way that the beans are their symbol, hopefully they’ll be able to find at least one more to keep as their special thing.

And just in a side note (after watching promo yet again) I am in awe of JMOs strength. Seriously. I knew she was fit and strong but wow, being able to lift yourself up like that is SO HARD and requires a huge amount of upper/core strength. Kudos to her!

They’re teasing us. I know there’s lots of good CS stuff to come. I think Adam and Eddie are probably the biggest CS fans at the moment. Eddie grins like the devil (like at Paley Fest) when CS was brought up and Adam’s was, “I’d like to see it,” I would be shocked if CS didn’t happen next season, considering all the build-up from season 2.
I so hope you’re right. I don’t know how you keep up your faith in CS all the time! There are times (not often!) when I think it won’t happen. But very positive for season 3 🙂 we’ll know more after the first episode I guess.

it’s interesting that you mention voice. I know Colin talked about in the Hook featurette on the DVD that Hook is more calculating, where as Killian lives in the moment. Lana studied voice acting and it really comes through when you watch her performance on screen before she’s the Evil Queen and after. There’s a subtle difference in tone. Now that I think about, when Colin’s Hook, his voice does tend to be deeper and huskier. but when he’s Killian, it’s lighter.
When he’s Hook as well, it’s harsher, more cutting. To me anyway 🙂 he was definitely using the Killian voice in the promo, to my thinking!
Also something I found interesting, of all the interactions they could have chosen to show us in that promo, it was one between Captain Swan. Does it mean something, or are they just trying to tease us? 🙂
