I’m not worried. We know as the audience that Neal is alive but Emma doesn’t. And really connected True Love, like Snow and Charming, when Snow ate the poisonous apple, Charming felt that and knew that something horrible happened to her. Emma thinks that Neal is dead. If it was real True Love b/t Emma and Neal, and since we know Emma is magical, she would have known that Neal is in fact alive. I hope that makes sense.

Watched the new promo like a squillion times – noticed that Hook has his Killian voice when talking to Emma. I just hope he doesn’t revert back and forth, like they did with Regina last season, that would just be awful.
I was wondering what type of couple Captain Swan would be. They wouldn’t be like Snowing, all lovey-dovey. That’s just not Emma, or Killian either (I so hope he makes her call him Killian – and no-one else!!!). They wouldn’t be like Rumbelle either.

That has to be before she kills King Leo, even possibly before Daniel is killed, she looks so innocent and carefree. Maybe Tink was Regina’s fairygodmother?? 🙂

I do think the use of “Savior” for Emma is largely a marketing handle, just like putting Wizard on Rumple, it totally is trying to create familiar roles so people can relate to the story and the characters. At the same time, I think Emma is not done with her role as Savior, so we may see that again in promotion. It is who she is in the story, the main protagonist moving the plot forward.
Well we can agree on that at least 🙂

Oh yes, I know he is. Have you watched the interviews he did at Comic Con? Not only is he adorable but his inner CS ‘shippyness showed the whole time.
Oh yes i’ve watched them!!! But he never has said it conclusively really. He kinda dances around it haha.
The hate part is really unfortunate. I see a lot of it, not only on twitter but tumblr too. Thankfully, there’s not so much of it here and if there’s a problem, Daniel steps in and takes care of it. He is awesome.
It’s a real shame. I wouldn’t mind, but the Hookriel/Fishhook thread already has 25 pages and they haven’t had ANY interaction together!!! Nevermind the meaningful kind of interaction that CS has had! Plus we know that Eric is Ariels TL… right?? RIGHT?
I hope he finds out about Emma’s heart, either from Snow or Emma herself. I would think that would make him very happy because there’s no way he can lose her the same way he lost Milah.

Right I have actually just had a possibly catastrophic epiphany whilst listening to the season 2 soundtrack. I just realised – when Neal fell through the portal, and Emma cried, there was TL music in the backround!!!!! <:( so worried right now... please reassure me!

Which is why I also said it’s probably more about marketing. Weren’t they labeling Rumple as “A Wizard” at one point? It was all, “There’s a Saviour, a Pirate, a Wizard,” etc. Labels to make them sound like a team of heroes, and Emma’s label always has been, always will be, “Saviour”.
No, sorry but that’s not ringing right with me. They do everything on this show for a reason right? They could have called her a mother or something. Not as dramatic of course. But still. Also in season 2 Emma is wondering about her role as the Saviour when the four of them were stuck in Rumple’s cell. That makes me think her role of “The Saviour” is not done, because why would A+E include that conversation otherwise?
I think PP let Bae leave at just the right time so he’d be able to meet up with Emma, because PP got clued in that Bae was gonna be the baby daddy of the kid in the picture.
Who let him know that I wonder? Possibly *cough*Rumple*cough*
Like RG said, Emma is more powerful than the lot of them put together. We’ll for sure see her learning exactly what her magic is all about, and how to use it. I expect that’ll be an ongoing journey for her, for however long the show lasts.

True but NL is very dark, as in the absence of light. And shadows mark the passage of time, like on sundials. It depends on what you want the shadow or heart to do. When someone takes a heart it is either to kill them outright (which may not be very helpful to PP) or to control them (again, maybe not very helpful to PP). But he can remove Henry’s enchanted shadow and use it for NL and at the same time that Henry’s shadow is saving NL, it keeps Henry alive forever because of the magic being restored. Also, in PP myth, shadows are more important than hearts in that they are given much consdieration, PP always losing his shadow and so on.
I think when Regina cast the Curse, it broke the magic in NL so that it began to trickle away very slowly. PP had been stockpiling shadows for about 200 years because he has the gift of sight; he also knows that he needs the shadow of the boy who has the heart of the truest believer. He will attempt to rip off the shadow of Henry but Rumple will step in and sacrifice his Dark One’s shadow to save Henry.Wow. You’ve really thought that through! I hope now though that there might be a surprise or two or the whole season storyline is completely ruined! :O 😀 Although still not fully on board with the shadow thing, PP obviously had Bae for about 300 years and didn’t steal his shadow from him in all that time.

Awesome to meet another CS ‘shipmate and it’s even more awesome how close you are to Colin, geographically. There were some American fangirls who scoured Drogheda to find him and they met his band and set-up a meet up with Colin. It’s one of the best fan encounters I’ve read. Welcome to the thread

Thanks for the welcome! I need this thread for sanity at the moment. There are so many CS haters out there – even today on Twitter it was all “I hate Captain Swan”. Why???
As a side note, I reeeeally hope that Hook finds out this season that Emma’s heart can’t be taken. It might give him a measure of relief about doing the whole love thing again.

Probably can remove hearts, but I don’t know if he’d go that route (or the writers really) since they did that with Regina and Cora and they don’t want it to get repetitive. I think PP needs the shadow of the boy who has the heart of the truest believer. I think the magic that is keeps you from aging in NL is slowly being destroyed and Henry’s shadow will stop that.
