    “I don’t like apples…it’s a family thing.”  That was classic.  Love the little quips they are throwing in, moreso this year than before, or so it seems.

    The Darlings as the original Home Office would be a nice shout-out to the Peter and the Starcatchers book series, which had a similar thread of protecting our world from dark magic running through the books. Disney (and therefore ABC) has a direct connection to those books, so it is certainly within their existing arsenal of ideas.

    No need for time-turning if the tree in the photo was the tree from which Pinocchio was carved. Now THAT would be a new, but fun, twist, but might be stretching it, even for this show. If a father lets his son drop into a portal in the woods, does anyone see it? Yes, if one of the trees in those woods is chopped down and carved into a puppet over 200 years later and then turns out to be a real boy who has a very good long-term memory!
