ParticipantGuys, what if Shatner is the blimp pilot (erm, captain)
We know that TV line is predicting that the guest and the show will be trending before the opening credits. We just saw that (most likely) the second scene–after Aladdin–is the arrival of the blimp. What if the very next scene is the captain of the blimp crashing and it’s Shatner.
I like that theory!!!
(Although the blind item says closing credits, not opening credits – but this theory is still a big possibility!)

ParticipantYeah, but they didn’t know if MRJ’s show would be cancelled back then, right?
That’s just one theory. We’re not necessarily saying that the blind item is about Neal (Especially since it’s made to sound like it’s an actor that has never appeared on the show that the blind item refers to).
Also, i think there is no way that some big actor is going to show up in the next episode because there would have been hints about it after the screening.
Like my post said, that’s what the confidentiality agreements are for.
YAlso, Eddie and Adam give everything away, so i just can’t imagine them hiding it.
They don’t always give things away. If there are things that they want hidden, they’re usually pretty good at keeping their mouths closed. All throughout Season 1 & 2 they rarely said anything plot related. They were quite about Jamie Dornan returning in the Season 1 finale. They were quite about MRJ returning for 5×12 (until it got leaked from the screener and TVLine wrote the article). They were quiet about Meghan Ory filming scenes for additional episodes in 3B (She was originally only supposed to be in 1). I could keep going on but you should get the point by now.

ParticipantAnother thing to back this up is that there was a blind item last season about a returning character. That ended up being OuaT (MRJ returning as Neal). We all suspected it but it wasn’t confirmed until the screener got sent out and people started talking. A few hours later, TVLine ended up writing an article confirming it.

ParticipantIn which case if it is OuaT, I’m voting William Shatner.

ParticipantI’m starting to wonder (and I just suggested it to Matt), maybe this is OuaT. It could be the reason why they haven’t posted the screener to the site like they usually do. Maybe they got all the press that saw it in person to sign a confidentiality agreement which made they promise not to even hint about it in their articles. They wouldn’t have that same control if they posted it online.
It’s a bit of a stretch but it’s possible.

ParticipantI was so sure that it would be AoS. I’m clue-less now.

ParticipantMatt was saying the same thing to me earlier and I agreed.
Yeah, Matt & I were just talking about it on twitter 🙂

ParticipantABC still hasn’t uploaded the screener to the press site. We were thinking that they were waiting until todays press event was over to do so but there’s still nothing. At this rate, I’m going to assume that the few of us with press passes won’t be able to preview it this time around and we’ll have to stick to all the hints that the big media sites post.
In saying that, ABC could still post it at any moment leading up to Sunday.

ParticipantOne of the main things that is putting me off thinking that it’s a Sidney episode is the fact that there hasn’t been an announcement of Giancarlo Esposito returning. The last two times that he came back (Including that cameo in in 3×02) the media made a big deal of it before hand.
