I’m about to crush all Rumbelle shippers hopes but it can’t be them. The original article pretty much rules it out.
Fans of the couple will likely have a mixed reaction, with some complaining it’s way too soon for such a development, and others cheering the inevitable next step — marriage.
Rumbelle are already married.

This makes me wonder if something MAJOR happens and it’s just so big that they’re trying to cut down as many crew as possible to avoid spoilers getting out.
Anyone else notice that the ship is the Jolly Rodger? So this must take place either before Hook retrieved it in the Missing Year OR BB survived and he was the one that Hook traded the ship for the bean and takes place Post-Curse 2.
Or they are just reusing the same ship set and not expecting us to notice.
Doubt it.
They painted the set for ‘A Tale of Two Sisters’ to use the ship for Elsa’s and Anna’s parents. So they’ve had to paint it back for this.

Ok. My theory is that Anna and Kristoff are stowaways on Blackbeard’s ship in attempt to escape Arendelle after the Snow Queen takes over. Possibly to get help from someone in Mist Haven. And then the curse happens. And that’s how they end up in the chest that the BTS photos show them getting out of .
