They were silk for sure. 😆
Yep. All the speculation can be laid to rest!
[adrotate group="5"]laurieanneParticipantHappy Birthday, obisgirl! That is an amazing cake/cupcake combo! I would feel the same way about cutting the cake! And what wonderful gifts!!
laurieanneParticipantGreat catch, AngieBelle! It looks like a cut scene but I am remaining hopeful that we will see it in Episode 20. I’ve watched Lacey three times today (and in a very busy day!) It has gripped my heart like no other.
laurieanneParticipantAll I have to say is “Bring back Maleficent!!”

Nice picks!!!!!!! 🙂 🙂 😉
Haha! I couldn’t believe they were still available – I quote those very quotes all the time!!
laurieanneParticipantI think it is very telling that Rumple said something about people who steal magic usually have no good motive for doing so. Tamara is someone who wants to steal magic. Robin Hood stole magic to heal Marian. That is a really close parallel, maybe just intended to let us know (in case we didn’t already) that Tamara is evil. This being OUAT, we are sure to get a backstory for her that will make her more sympathetic, but until then, I will go with evil. However, RH did have a worthy motive for stealing the wand. Not evil. Casting brilliance – Marian as an African-American, which only makes us speculate all the more that she has a connection to Tamara.

I feel like I’m the only one who approves of Lacey. I thinks it’s a nice turn in the show (even if it doesn’t last long) and I think it is going to be very compelling to watch. IMO, Belle inspired alot of goodness in Rumpel and now he can have her AND be dark and evil with her approval….seems like we’re in for a ride and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
I actually like Lacey as a storyline and character developer. I like the idea of Rumple’s goodness being stretched – now he is the one who knows right from wrong, and he is risking (as many others have pointed out) losing Lacey (and ultimately Belle) if he is “too good.” I am hoping that this arc will lead to their eventual reconciliation and Belle regaining her memories. TLK is the only way and man do I want that to happen sooner rather than later. I love seeing both RC and EdR acting their brains out – it is too delicious and will only make their eventual coming together all the more wonderful. That is what interests me – seeing the journey and the processing of both of these characters. Now they have a storyline that is integral to both characters and to an important theme of the show – choosing light over darkness. I am thrilled, excited and terrified.

Belle doesn’t remember her true self, wouldn’t have let Keith touch her were she herself and is therefore unable to give consent. Keith remembers his true identity, he wanted to sleep with Belle in FTL and tried to broker that in a deal with Rumple. Keith was trying to take advantage of Belle, he may be more nicer about it than he was in FTL but the end result is the same, he wants to have a night with Belle.
Keith isn’t going to be telling anyone anything. He’s got no tongue and will probably be glad that he escaped with his life. Though if Charming did find Keith, I’d love to see him confront Rumple about it.
Charming: That guy that was hitting on Belle at the bar the other night, he’s in hospital. Something tells me it wasn’t an accident.
Rumple: And you’re here because…?
Charming: Because I think you’re the one who put him there.
Rumple: Did he actually say that it was me?
Charming: 😐
I agree with your assessment, PriceofMagic – Keith remembers and Belle does not. It can’t be consensual. And I loved the scene you wrote, especially the last line/expression of Charming’s!
laurieanneParticipantI think the most interesting statement was from Charming when he said that there was a small bit of their old FTL selves within their cursed personalities. So we can hang on to that – that there is a shred of the real Belle within Lacey and the trick is to see how/if/when Rumple is able to bring that out, while still staying “dark” enough to remain in her life. This is an incredible storyline – so multifaceted, so many opportunities to blow it, and so many opportunities to get it right. But I think it’s gonna take awhile. Definitely a bumpy ride! (Just like real love!)
laurieanneParticipantI watched the episode late last night and I’m still reeling from all the emotion. Seriously, I loved the episode and, even though I know we are going to have to wait awhile to get our real Rumbelle (minus Lacey), I wasn’t expecting how dark Lacey was, especially after all the interviews Emilie did. She may have played her as free spirited and just wanting to have a good time, but the way it was edited showed her as a dark character. I fear for Rumple, and gratefully accept the cookies offered last night by RG.
Favorite parts were in FTL – the library scene, the hug, Rumple sparing Robin and Marian. I totally agree, RG- Tamara is Marian and Robin’s daughter. Good call!
Loved Neal and Emma scene, Charming helping Rumple in the bar and the early hospital scene where Belle was so cute and trusting.
REALLY loved Rumple’s awkwardness on the date – flipping the menu, spilling the iced tea. His look when she filled her glass to the top.
Least favorite- Regina! I love to hate her but she is really hateful in this episode. -
