[adrotate group="5"]laurieanneParticipantWelcome! I’m new as well–I’m enjoying this site very much. I usually just lurk but I’ve become increasingly braver about posting. Most people have such great ideas and takes on the show and characters-it’s a thought-provoking group of people.
laurieanneParticipantThat’s kind of a major thing to be cut from a scene – I agree that we need to see it sometime.
laurieanneParticipantSebastian Stan is currently starring on Broadway. The problem is that he is too good at what he does, and is in high demand. Good for him, bad for us. I agree that this is a difficulty with getting so many high quality actors for the show–having so many good actors that they can’t all have their “moments” nor can they just be expected to sit around “in case” OUAT needs them. The creators want to tell a lot of stories, and even the original actors suffer at times with being underused. I have read criticism many times over having too many “filler” story lines but I think that if you were an actor on this show, you would probably want to do more than just show up from time to time in Storybrooke, attend parties etc. I will definitely miss SS as the MH. I also think someone else could do the role, so I don’t want to see the character go away because I really like him and think there is more to find out about him and Grace.
laurieanneParticipantI hope so too. I think there is only so far they can take Cora’s character- so far she hasn’t shown any of the redeemable qualities that the other “villains” have shown. We may learn more about that in the next episode, but I am still hoping it is Cora. I think ultimately Cora’s pure desire for power (no matter who she harms) will lead to her demise. I would LOVE it if that scene includes Regina protecting Henry and destroying Cora in the process.
laurieanneParticipantYou plan two trips to Seattle to “visit your sister” when all you really want to do is go to Vancouver and see all the places where the show is filmed (thankfully my sister is as big a fan as I am)
You buy the DVD for the first season even though you already have it on Netflix, just to get the special features
You would rather watch OUAT than any other show, even episodes you have already seen many many timesAngieBelle, Brigadoon is one of my favorite musicals- hope you have a blast with it!
laurieanneParticipantI’m new to these forums and just read all of this one –hilarious! Good job, everyone! I wish I knew how to do this but I will just sit back and marvel at all of you…
laurieanneParticipantI just saw it. I hate this twist. Isn’t life complicated enough for these people?
laurieanneParticipantI agree as well. This has bothered me since seeing Manhattan – her actions seem to be too quick. I’m sure there wasn’t time to show adequate character development, but still…. If Milah was a main character, we might hope to get a little more explanation, but I think this might be all we are going to get. Good comments! I think, regarding her lying to the “original” Rumple, that she was just as much of a coward as he was. Cowardice takes many forms – in this case, she wanted “out” of her life with Rumple and Bae, but chose to put Rumple in a situation (once again) where he refused to fight – this instead of confronting him once and for all and telling him she was leaving him for Hook. She says she fell in love with Hook in one night because he was telling stories of adventure. Love takes a little more time than that. She may have thought this was her one chance of getting away from the life she hated.
laurieanneParticipantIt doesn’t look like the same scars. But maybe the scars could have changed (shrunk?) over time?
