Wow..sorry for the drabble I just needed to get this of my chest after an interesting discussion with my boss about all this mess.
I think I can pretend that’s what really happened. Thanks for the beautiful send-off we never got.
The more I think about the whitewashing of Hook + this apparent filler episode (when the treatment of Neal suggested they had “just too much story to tell” in 3B), the less and less hope I have. It may just be Death to eliminate SF and OQ to eliminate SQ so that CS is last ship standing for S4 (final).
I’m thinking more and more and more shenanigans! I do have hope, and I will continue to have hope until the end of the season. I will return to the show (and gladly tweet Adam to announce it) when/if Neal/MRJ comes back AND the “real” death is handled well.
Note: if someone else must die, the death needs to be handled for real. Not the crap we got with Neal. All main characters deserve a death in-character with dignity for their fans.

I think they’re making Hook off-putting. I know the CS fans eat this stuff up, but to me, it’s been so forced. Especially in 3B. And the widespread thought that he would make a good partner for Emma/father for Henry is maddening. Not saying he doesn’t deserve his own arc/redemption/happy ending, and I really like Colin as an actor… jussayin’.

Text from my mom: “Update. They took him out of coma. [cousin] is off ventilator. Breathing on own. Heart beating on own. He is confused and eyes blurry but [my aunt] thinks he recognizes their voices. Everything that is happening is what is supposed to. God is good!” God is good indeed! Glad to get this great news today and just wanted to make sure I passed it along to you guys. Thanks again for all the good thought and prayers! *HUGS*

Though they did just make a point of having Zelena accept responsibility for Neal’s death, which would be some nice foreshadowing if erasing her existence back to a certain point in time would undo the crap she did.

+ more…The thing that’s stuck in my brain about the second chances thing is that it was stated blatantly in this ep. The phrase from Neal’s promo poster was stated blatantly as a theme for the central storyline in S3B.

But I don’t want Bae back. The whole August thing was annoying. He lost all his memories and ceased to exist. His body/DNA was there, but it wasn’t August. I want Neal back.
We should make a list of all these clues, and you’ll see that all your theories are not that cracked.
