ParticipantThe triangle was stupid and forced, but on the Hook side. At least Graham was believable. I even shipped August for a while (and I still grieve that idiotic resolution).
The horrible fan base has ruined this show in more ways than one.

ParticipantThe only explanation is MRJ wanted out now. Storytelling and season arch would dictate that tonight was not the night for whatever master storyline A&E claim to tell, even if the death were somehow necessary which I don’t buy).

Participanti don’t see how this can have a good impact on ratings at this point in the season unless they think CS shippers are bringing friends. Why would they do this now and not at the end. It makes such little sense, seriously… Denial. Denial. Denial. Mixed with some anger and sadness.

ParticipantI guess there’s nothing to do but wait and hear the fall out tomorrow and how Adam responds on Twitter, perhaps. This makes no sense. So crappy they couldn’t even give him a decent send off or build up or anything.
yep. I’ve passed into denial, folks. My husband is all upset I did spoilers instead of just watching it. I told him I spared him of the agony. Man hates me to see him cry, anyway.

ParticipantOr have I passed from anger to denial already?!!!!

ParticipantCould there possibly be another forever death later in the season? I mean, the TVline article is merely repeating A&E from earlier that there would be a forever death and then drawing the conclusion that THIS is said death. Is there a confirmation that MRJ has left? From A&E?
Or am i missing something reading, looking for any way out? That they telegraphed this death and that so many ppl “predicted it” gives me a spark of hope.

ParticipantYeah, if I see Hook again I will barf all over myself. Done I tell you.
He didn’t bother me before, but he bothers me now. And why wasn’t HIS story done in NVL?
(and we are sure MRJ is forever gone?)

Participanteither MRJ wanted to leave, or CS fans were too valuable and they had written themselves in a corner with Swanfire as TL. (obviously their ooriginal pairing.)
Totally done. Getting choked up and teary thinking about this episode I didn’t even see.
and OT: UK made it to the final four. I am a Louisville fan… Combining this with Neal’s death confirms that good guys can’t win (in my world)

ParticipantHow on earth could this be anything other than MRJ wanted out? No way is anyone convincing me that Nealfire’s story had run its course. Now I’m getting angry!

Participantthey’re ending the shipping wars. Forcing Robin Hood to discourage SQ, killing Neal to get rid of SF. Now we are all supposed to jump on the CS train? Heck no.
