I’m thinking if Neal went to visit his dad in the EF with Emma, DO Rumple would have known it was him, even all grown. There could have been a major emotional meltdown with RC.
Then, maybe then =and only then= would a memory potion/Doc Brown thing make sense. DO Rumple would have done what Bae asked him for sure. That would have been at least more in character than listening to strange girl from the future/Hook.
I’m hoping that time heals all wounds, but I’m still feeling sad and broken. Haven’t watched since 314, depleted and dejected since 315, but angry and bitter about 321/322. Baby name drama, the whole “Emma loves Neal but can’t attempt TLK or changing the past while she’s sucking face with Hook and porting Marian to the future,” DO Rumple saying “Oh well,” introducing Elsa… it’s too, too much.
MRJ effectively having Neal say, “I coulda been a contender”… that helps. I’m taking that as a covert confirmation of BTS BS.
Beautiful GIF sets, fan fics, knowing I’m not alone… that helps. Not all viewers have lost their minds.

1. We will finally have some closure with this episode, even if not with the plot.
2. MRJ’s name will not be associated with this show after tonight.
3. Our ship was the first to go, allowing us the opportunity to bail before it gets worse (and it will).
4. We have enough evidence (for us) that SF was true love.
5. We won’t be anxious and antsy over the hiatus.
6. We know William Shatner will share our disappointment and likely call trolls out at some point.

I feel like my ship was the victim of a hit-and-run. The drivers didn’t even slow down, let alone stop and apologize. Today is the day I finally get to put my ship to rest.

I put this show to rest the other day with the A&E idiocy/promo poster fiasco. Tomorrow night, I’m not even fooling with live tweet from poor, deluded Shatner. I’ll mourn with y’all after spoilers.
