Heather said, Ugh, the ratings went UP last night. I wanted an epic fall again this week. Pardon me while I curse like an army man and throw things at the wall for a while. π₯
The fanbase for this show proves that there is no accounting for taste in this world. (Or reason. Or common sense.)
[adrotate group="5"]lecygneParticipantAnd at some point in the alternate timeline, they have to stop Zelena. Otherwise, it is an endless loop of curses back and forth, Groundhog Day-style. Someone has to have the wits about them, the memory required, to do what it takes to prevent the cycle from starting yet again. And in that case, why can they (assume: Emma) not stop Zelena before ANY of this happened, thereby avoiding Neal’s death altogether?
There is no reason that they have to allow the timeline to get back to Neal’s death. Maybe Emma could go to the EF and stop those events as opposed to waiting for Hook to make it to NYC when it was already too late?
EDIT: Restoring a timeline is too complicated. Only more alternate ones can be created.
lecygneParticipantTrue, but for Henry to exist, they can’t just restore Emma’s birth. They have to restore everything just the way it was. And if they have that much control, why can’t they also fix the deaths brought about by Zelena (or monkeys or whatever), aka Blue Fairy resurrection after shadow?
lecygneParticipantSlurp said:Maybe Hook used the magic compass from S2 to locate the object of his desire (Emma). Sigh, I canβt believe I just wrote that CS stuff in the SF thread.
I just threw up a little… lol
lecygneParticipantJust thinking that if RG has “Le Tent of Doom,” maybe underneath the table with DSB also needs a descriptive name. π
As much as I hope with everyone else that these writers haven’t completely switched train destinations (distracting most passengers with shiny things and the promise of beautiful scenery while other passengers look at the destination on their ticket and ask for a refund), I can’t help but think that we are able to see all these pointers because, well duh, SF was the original destination. All signs point there because they were intended to point there. But the rules have changed… on screen and off screen. We can never be sure or trust or have hope again because we do not know what is going on. And something is going on. We can’t even develop plausible theories because the writers have created a situation where everyone is so OOC and “rules of the universe” are violated willy-nilly – without character and rules, everything is possible. OH! EXCEPT Neal. Dead is dead. That rule sticks. But only for Neal.
I think I’m checking in to RG’s Tent of Doom this morning, with a wistful eye on DSB’s under-table-of-eternal-sunshine. I love everything everyone is saying. It pulls on my heartstrings and appeals to my logic. After all, the only thing – the. only. thing. – that makes sense is Swanfire resurrecting. However, we are about 200 miles past the shark at this point, so what makes sense no longer plays in this world.
lecygneParticipantlecygneParticipantKFC…lol on Graham’s ghost!!!
lecygneParticipantHeather said, OMG, I donβt have time to post this whole thing but please check this link out and laugh with me at the brilliant GIF use from the ACS blog, LOL π
That anyone would really think this shows that the fan base to which the show panders is insane.
lecygneParticipantTo continue with DSB:
7. Hook proposes, and Emma tearfully accepts. Making way for the splashy wedding.
lecygneParticipantSo many brilliant things said today on this forum. Undoubtedly so much garbage to come tonight. π
