ParticipantTaking a guess that this kid is Greg – the ages could work out. Plus, doesn’t seem likely that his father makes it out of Storybrooke. Maybe Greg has been traveling New England and trying to deal with these tragic childhood memories and stubbles into town once again..A kid as young as this isn’t going to have all his memories in tact – and he could be staying just to see how everything works out with what he remembers. After all, seeing Regina doing magic is what’s caused him to stay – maybe cause he saw it when he was a child; maybe even haunted by Regina’s image.

ParticipantI’m not sure the issue is ‘revenge’ but going to such elaborate, time consuming means to get it. If your revenge fantasy is so detailed and far stretching that you can’t get it done in one generation – it’s time to get a hobby. Stamp collecting. Teaching disadvantaged children how to read…anything would be a better use of your time then hoping all the elements come together in a decade that work into your revenge plot…kidding! Revenge is wrong. Everyone needs to love each other and get along. 😆

ParticipantAs someone who does tend to sympathize and overlook a lot of the negatives against Neal, I do have to agree I’d be pissed with him being angry at Emma giving Henry up for adoption. Whatever his motives were, he removed himself from that situation. And, IMHO, probably made it impossible for Emma to track him down.
He probably is working under the assumption that as much as he’s messed up – his shady past at least gave Emma and Henry a jump start in a better life (watch money). So when it does come out that Henry wasn’t raised by Emma, that she never got the money and probably didn’t find herself in a situation where raising him was a possibility, I see his emotions delving more into self-hate, being reflective about how thing might have been. Of course, I’m expecting a scene with August about how he had ruined the possibility of this family unit – in multiple ways.
I guess I don’t see the function of having him angry at Emma over this, plotwise. Maybe, if he hadn’t seen the keychain and wasn’t likely to see the yellow bug – and because of this thought Emma threw Henry away because she wanted nothing of Bae in her life – here I could see his abandonment issues coming into play and have Neal act out – I’d still be pissed with him but it could create more tension then just a scene of him throwing a fit and Emma explaining to him her circumstances. Who knows, though! 😀

ParticipantI guess they didn’t want to interrupt the seriousness of the fight scene…and I’m pretty sold Regina realizing Henry’s dad is Rumpel’s son will be comical. Really hope they don’t brush it under the rug. She was the one in the pilot to ask about Henry dad – if he’d be showing up. Would feel strange if these two just interact a season or two later and are like ‘oh – you!’
I’m guessing Bae doesn’t know that Henry was adopted yet – that Emma didn’t raise him. So maybe their just waiting for the planets to align so everything can boil over at just the right time. I’m hopeful at least! 😀

ParticipantI just started out, ouatswanfirescarf and mainly just use it so I can save cool stuff and send them to my friends lol. I probably “reblog” everything you post.
Well, now I’m going to have to start following and reblogging you! It’s always amazing to have Swanfire on my dash! 😀
I loved the Emma/Neal moments last night – how they didn’t over power everything else going on but the actors managed to convey so much! If all we have for awhile (seasons even!) are these subtle, but well done, moments – I’m going to be a very happy shipper. It’s moments like that that I find so beautiful and power.

ParticipantAny other MRJ/Bae fans disappointed that we didn’t get a “WHO ARE YOU?” moment when Cora and Regina entered the Pawn Shop – directed at Bae. I realize there were a lot of things going down – but no heistation of ‘Oh, you’re not one of our normal enemies…why are you here..?”
I’m not sure if I’d rather he had introduced himself as Rumpel’s son or Henry’s father – or both! But I expected some type of exchange. Guess I’ll have to wait for Regina to learn about Henry’s dad – or do you think that was in phone conversation she and Cora had tapped? 😆

ParticipantHope you enjoy Terriers! I started watching it on a whim over the summer, when I heard MRJ was joining the cast but I’d never seen him in anything other than Walking Dead and True Blood. But the guy had me won over by the first episode: has some very subtle acting moments but can also carry off a natural humor – all together a great combination! 😀

Participant1. A common, and hotly debated, fan theory about a main character is directly addressed. Does it turn out to be right? Our lips are sealed.
Rumpel is Regina’s bio papa. I don’t think it will be revealed to either of them – but that fans will get the truth in flashback, when Cora is seen holding an infant.
2. Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) isn’t the only baddie with major humiliation in his/her past.
Agree, it’s CORA!
3. “Henry’s never going to forgive that.”
I think this is to Regina…from Snow or Emma. I’m guessing about killing everyone in the room.
4. One character questions his/her life goals, and considers giving up everything s/he’s worked for. And no, we’re not talking about the good character that goes bad.
I’m thinking this is Cora in the flashback – questioning her motivation but going through with her marriage because power wins out for her.
5. On the topic of a good character going bad, we have a feeling there’s going to be intense debate about how dark that character has actually gone.Agree, probably Snow…maybe she has the intention of killing Cora…but Regina steps in at the last minute. So, she could have gone fully dark but an already dark character got the last blow in.
6. “No, I was able to do it. I chose not to.”
Rumpel to Cora. I’m thinking this is about fate and his ability to see the future. Maybe he could have shifted events in their romantic relationship but chose what he knew would lead to Regina casting the curse and him seeing Bae again?? Or this is Emma acknowledging that she is very powerful magically but won’t exploit it like Cora, Regina, or Rumpel have.
7. Speaking of choosing, a choice one character made in a recent flashback is revisited, with a twist. Will s/he make the same decision twice, or will s/he go down a different path this time?Snow willingness to trade someone’s life for another’s..maybe even via candle again.
8. Love can overcome anger and hurt in extreme situations.
There’s just too much love, working in too many different motivations and directions, in that little shop next episode to guess. Romantic love or parental love – to already drives pretty much everyone involved. Something like this could be a teaser for every episode. 😆
9. Someone gets a beautiful reminder of who s/he really is.Rumpel’s conversation with Belle. Works this way for both Belle and Rumpel..Having Bae next to him, I think that moment he realizes how much he wishes to be the man he was again – to have his humanity back.
10. “I didn’t know you had that in you.” / “Oh, I’m full of love.”
I’ll go with either of your options for this one. Lines suit all four of them in different ways. 😀

ParticipantAnyone seen MRJ’s twitter page recently? He’s been reposting fanvideos and art for Swanfire. Even joked when the pictures of him with his sword were released that he’ll need it to protect him against Captain Swan shippers (since some of them have just been soooo mature and sending hate towards him! CLASSY!)
The amount of enthusiasm and excitement MRJ has over Swanfire makes my heart do flips! 😀
