Promos are considered non spoilers on this site, right? Just making sure I can use this thread for a crying circle later on tonight. 😆 All MRJ, Neal, Swanthief, and Swanfire fans are invited!
As much as I love swanthief/fire, there really seems to be enough issues that can add tension and drama without doing the ‘other woman’, love triangle route. Let’s be honest: it’s lazy storytelling at this point to choose that route.
Ramblings of mine that most probably won’t care about! 😀 I'm thinking Manhattan is going to reveal a prophecy about Baelfire, possibly rooted in the upcoming 'final battle'. This person, IMHO, seems to be watching the exchange in the coffee shop behind them and run into Neal on purpose. Maybe she's trailing him? Because of his role in the future war? My pet theory right now is that this character is Tinkerbell (and/or a fairy) sent by Blue to find Bae. Blue knew Bae's name when they meet (knew about a possible prophecy too?) and I'm still hoping that Blue's been a couple steps ahead of everyone and been setting the story into action over the centuries spanned.
Really the wait might be nothing for a guy that lived in FTL till he was 14 (15ish) – with that exposure to ‘true love’ and it being presented as a reality that must be earned/ fought for: I could see that mindset still being a part of Neal.
Honestly, I think the photo of her holding something in her hand while exiting a building is after the shoot – the actress checking her cellphone. MRJ is seen taking off his scarf behind – which wouldn’t make sense if he’s supposedly heading out into a New York Autumn or Winter.
On the subject of her being a love interest for Neal – really hoping they’re not bringing in a POC to only serve as a romantic plot/tension device. Hope she fits into the greater story (and if she has some romantic connection on top of that – cool!) Neal seemed like a lonely guy in Broken. I think his love life has been a lot like Emma’s – maybe even less. I’m guessing it’s difficult having one night stands when you know your soul mate is out there but 11 years it a long time. 😀
