Even Hook took an interest in Snow’s ‘grandson’ – yeah, Henry’s so getting kidnapped! From the second she heard about Henry, I have no doubt Cora’s been planning – knowing he’s the key to breaking Regina and the Charmings. If she had only known to factor in Rumple and Baelfire – she’d realize she’s over her head.
And Henry’s getting his knight lessons! He’d at least put up a good fight when Cora and Hook

Maybe in a few seasons they’ll have a time lapse to the future and we can see what 17 year old Henry is going to be like. Think of the epic adventures! Don’t know what I want more: his ride of choice to be his horse or him to be the next owner of the yellow bug? Definitely think he’ll learn to drive the bug – maybe before the age of 12. 😆
One weird thing about Emma playing 17 – she seems like the same person we know at 28. Maybe because of young Regina, but I was thinking she’d be a bit less bitter and more naive. Maybe too early to really tell but I’m hoping she can convey being young and then who cares if she doesn’t look like an obvious teenage. Wouldn’t a girl fresh out of foster care TRY to look like an adult anyway?
Since Neal is trying to get a drink with her – it’s apparently working! If they did go for younger actors, people would just freak out that a 24 year old is trying to get drinks with a 17 year old. Both actors in their 30’s makes that a bit less creepy!

They did do the parallel to Henry – and Rumplestiltskin! Had a feeling he’d be my favorite character and still looks like it. 😀 Love his attitude to getting robbed.

I’m worried by how much I love this pairing right now, with only one clip, – since there probably won’t be a lot of warm-fuzzy moments to come for them..for awhile anyway. However, they do seem to do this sexually-charged snarky-flirting thing that could pop up during fights. 😆
😕 ….Hook’s a shady character. I love how the tagline is ‘Can we trust Captain Hook?’ Does anyone trust this guy? I guess the biggest shocker from his storyline could be him actually not double crossing the princesses 😆
Makes sense, and I think Jane indicated the possibility of Dracula a day or two ago – even pointed out that he was based on a real person (Vlad the Impaler).
Have to add into the mix Jack: the Pumpkin King though but Dracula makes more sense. 😆
I kind of get where your coming from Mellie – didn’t think he was the hottest guy to the join the show when I heard about him being cast. But I’ve become pretty protective over time. He really does have a swagger and personality that radiates awesome for me.
I think the best way to describe it, using his Terrier character ‘Britt’, is that MRJ is the full package: personality, looks, swagger, etc. He really makes me sympathize with his characters.
He seems to be getting a lot of hate on other sites, seen him referred to as ‘butt-ugly’ and ‘dog-faced’ since Sunday. Again- completely over protective of him now! I don’t know what is wrong with these people but I’m pretty confident some of them will be swayed come Sunday – after they see him in action. 😀
Also, updated the poll and lost everything. Sorry to anyone who voted earlier- first poll I’ve run on the site and didn’t think I’d lose everything by adding another option.
That’s a good point about no one really shipping David/Kathryn vs. Snow White. It might be interesting to have tension over Emma’s romantic life since she doesn’t really have an obvious true love from a set story.
But…. I’m fearful of the fan base dividing over who Emma’s true love will be: it’s gonna get nasty! Though the majority of ONCE fans I love some just REALLY SCARE ME! 😕

Really want the pumpkin pie thing to be kind of true. That was the one fact about Henry’s dad I assumed was true from the story… Seems like kind of an odd detail to add otherwise. Fireman makes sense given the proceeding fire and everything but why lie about a pie preference and make it a playful obsession for the man. Telling a brave 10 year old that his father was a hero was probably enough to satisfy Henry for now..
To add to the idea that the yellow bug is a symbol of the Emma-Bae-Henry family unit – in Price of Gold, Henry is hidden in the backseat and pops up when Emma start’s driving after Cinderella/Ashley and makes her jump (he was supposed to be heading home). Didn’t remember it until I was rewatching tonight but it’s pretty much how I’m expecting ‘Neal’ to reveal himself Sunday. 😀
