So I’m assuming that Michael is Bae and August went to go find in ‘We are Both’ to bring him to Storybrooke. Perhaps Rumple sent him and that’s why we see Rumple standing at the border at the end of the episode.

Part of me really likes this theory and can see the episode ending with Bae opening his apartment door and finding August there. But August is wooden again – would he be able to move around, unnoticed, in New York? Really do think he probably sent the postcard and that’s where he was when his papa came to this room…

Under Bae/Jack/Henry’s dad – I wouldn’t be surprised if it did mean this thief was getting serious and ‘courting’ her for marriage (and creeping Emma out completely with her trust issues!) Bae was raised like a Middle Ages’ peasant, where that would be the standard as teenagers let alone if he was in love with her. I do think part of the equation could be him trying to talk her into leaving the lifestyle and running away with him (maybe to Arizona??) – which brings to question if he was the one who turned her in. If he thought that was the only way to make her see sense, that he couldn’t help her….still doesn’t explain him not ‘being a hero’ since I think adult Emma would understand these motives…

I think they may try to make Killian and Milha ‘star-crossed lovers’ – but I’m not sold that ‘true love’ justifies leaving your husband and child. For some reason, I even read the released photos in this order:

With Milha mocking Rumple as Hook laughs on – and Bae caught in the middle of the dysfunction! Poor kid! They’re really setting up the sad little, sympathetic kid angle before episode 6.

Young Bae is older than I expected- I guess my head canon had him not really remembering his mother because he was a baby when she left and/or died. Now seeing that’s he old enough to have some memory and understanding of what’s going on with mommy – more emotional baggage for adult Baelfire and possibly some issues with women leaving him! That being said, after awhile I can see Bae and Rumple teaming up to mess with Hook – but I guess I should be calling him by his other name since he still has both hands apparently. 😆

So Hook’s real name is probably Killian Jones. I wonder if the twist is going to be Killian threatens Rumple at some point (being a coward, he doesn’t fight back) and wee Baelfire ends up cutting of his hand…I think I just came up with a VERY dark idea…and the picture of the little Bae is still up on my screen….

I kind of see Regina walking all over Archie in a relationship (even if she did redeem herself and wasn’t so ‘evil’ anymore). In Rumbelle – Belle at least called him out (and left him….for maybe an hour 😕 ) when he was out of line. All in all – relationships between opposite can be very entertaining/interesting as long as no one is treated like a doormat. I can’t see Regina respecting Archie. Maybe something may arise that changes this (who can tell with this show!) But, as of right now, I think Archie could do better. And I think Regina could still meet someone able to challenge the person she’s become.

I’m not sure he should be described as chiefly greedy – if I’m remembering correctly, he made the deal with Midas because his kingdom was failing and needed the money. Since natural resources were becoming scarce throughout the Enchanted Forest (fairy dust, magical trees, etc.), I wouldn’t be surprised if he was just trying to keep his kingdom afloat. As a leader, he was responsible for many lives and I think that’s the main reason he and the actual Prince James entered into an agreement with Midas.

I guess I keep thinking back to that one scene of King George (after his son’s death but before Rumple announces the existence of Charming). And actually went back to watch it since I feel it is the most accurate characterization of King George so far. As George is crying over James’ body, a knight is the one to remind him that the kingdom will never see the money if Midas finds out the prince is dead. Then, with tears in his eyes, George replies that “the kingdom must survive”. George is also quick to correct Rumple when James is referred to as a gift, “He was not a gift – He was my son!”

I don’t think anyone can question how much he loved his son. I’d even guess that he loved his wife, since remarrying after her death and having another baby were ‘out of the question’.

I actually think King George had been a noble, loving man at this point. But he lost everything that was important to him. Another desperate soul.

He even says the lines – “So my kingdom is lost…..I’m alone.”

His anger at Charming probably stems from part of him wanting to have replaced his son in every capacity, to have those bonds again – but knowing they’re not there or will ever be again. Also, his desperation! In the more recent events we’ve seen him acting insanely irrational – I think this might factor into ‘having nothing left to lose’.

Next week, while his past self is poisoning Snow White/going after Ruth, in Storybrooke King George is parked in his car, watching Henry and Charming play fight with swords. And I will probably cry now because of how sad and heartbreaking it will be. 😥 He's horrible in his actions, but so pathetic as well. Hate him, but also feel sorry for him 😕

All and all, I think he’ll turn out being another interesting character in the show – and kind of want to know more of his story. What was he and his wife’s fairytale story?

….Portland? Huh, of all the locations linked to Emma and her backstory – Portland is a surprise. 😀

If the price to be paid for over using/miss using magic manifests in turning skin green – I still think it’s possible that she could become the Wicked Witch of the West. I see the logic that it is related back to Rumple but I think it expands into her own desperation and a (possible) future path if she finds herself unable to give up magic.
