ParticipantIt does seem pretty clear now that Cora is the Queen of Hearts. I actually laughed out loud when she gave her little speech about ‘having the people’s hearts in your hands’ in front of the looking glass. 😀
It seems weird that of the sightings of Cora on set for later episodes, she's always in blue/black/green – not red. I'm sure I'm just getting hang-up on details here, but it seems like current Cora would want to broadcast for all to know that she is a queen in her own right – THE Queen of Hearts.
But, it is probably a post-Alice Wonderland now. It even looks like Cora is going to be in the refugees' pit next week to confront Snow and Emma. Wonder if Alice put her there? 😀

ParticipantAntbee – everything in that post is golden!
Really think Barrett is going to be Merlin – and a future villain for next season. It wouldn’t be expected for Merlin to be working against ONCE’s ‘good’ guys. Also (since it will probably occur to Rumple at some point this season that he has to ‘change’ to keep Belle, win over Baelfire, and take care of his grandson) I can see Merlin being quite an adversary for him – imagine Rumple going up against someone of equal power and intelligence? 😮
Bae is so Henry’s dad at this point, but I (who was obsessed with it over the summer) still can’t believe they put a flame on the end of Henry’s arrow (right between Rumple and Henry). Or that the ‘mysterious man’ dropped his piece of modern technology (our world) down a fire escape.
If Rumple ‘changes’ (not selflessly, but in trying to keep everyone he loves with him), and Regina ‘changes’ to try to please Henry – where have all our villains gone? And aren’t we getting ready to fight some ‘final battle’ against unknown forces???
Cora seems to be a good choice (we’ll find out tonight! 😀 ). Hook seems to be kind of a creepier like Whale – though somewhat better at seducing and not just getting a restraining order (again, we’ll find out soon). But – It feels like the show does need to restock on some ‘bad guys’!

ParticipantIf I suggested Quinn could be the Sorcerer’s Apprentice – how many people would laugh me out of the forums??? 😀

ParticipantI’m going to (for now) say that Quinn is really going to be the ONCE version of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and Barrett is Merlin.

ParticipantI don’t think it’s likely that Barret is Henry’s dad since they’ve already filmed the episode he’s revealed in and have only just started looking for this role.
Could possible be Baelfire – I’m going to link to another discussion page for this, just because I don’t think we’re allowed to discuss it openly here – casting etc. for future episodes being spoilers. But definitely share this idea with us on this thread:

Then we won’t have to worry about spoiling for others.

ParticipantI refuse to bend and think this is anything other than misdirection. Not Bae. Like you said – I expect Baelfire to be jaded by his father abandoning him for power, tormented and a variety of trust issues…
Honestly (and I’m going to have to go back and re-read Quinn’s bio) this sounds more like the Merlin I know. Highly intelligent. Does get credited for helping the ‘good’ guys through a lot of bad situations and can definitely be viewed as kind. But he is also capable of doing a lot of dark things as long as he felt they helped the greater good – for the kingdom. I’d kind of like to see Merlin coming off as an antagonist in ONCE- for awhile at least. 😀

ParticipantSince we know Fairytale Land still exists…
The second part of the curse will be broken by Baelfire’s true love’s kiss within the borders of Storybrooke- opening up a portal to return to Fairytale Land – which will still be in ruins overrun by Wraiths.
Submitting it now, but will probably have to submit it for the ‘Okay, I’m calling it…! (season 3)’ and possibly the ‘Okay, I’m calling it…! (season 4)’ threads. 😀

ParticipantJust watched it: I didn’t really take it as a giveaway – but maybe just because there seem to be so many other ‘hints’ that go in that direction that are stronger. Rumple being his own grandfather doesn’t really mean he’s Henry’s – just that he’s pretty much capable of anything on this show (and has been around long enough to lap generations).

ParticipantStill like the idea of Bae being Jack too, AntBee. Can’t help it!
I was kind of shocked that he wasn’t in Boston aka Beantown (since I really think this is Bae we’re dealing with), but didn’t catch the whole NY Giants thing! 😀
Besides, he could have still landed in the Boston area and migrated to New York as an adult.lilred
ParticipantSo – someone posted on Tumblr that Ginnifer Goodwin gave away who Henry’s dad is in an interview with Criag Ferguson. At first I called bluff, remembering that the only main cast member aware of who he is was Jennifer Morrison. But then remembered that they have already filmed episode six – she does probably know now!
Looking for the video online, but haven’t found anything yet. Does anyone watch the show? Can anyone confirm that it was a ‘give away’?
If you don’t mind being spoiled – apparently the give away confirmed to this person that the dad is Baelfire….like Henry having a random flame on the tip of his arrow in the promotional photos wasn't enough. 😀
