Phee, this is once again going off your theory.
Ruth becomes the Lady of the Lake.
Imagine that she was mortally wounded, and Charming realized he’s guilty of causing her death. Desperate enough to make a deal? She wouldn’t be dead yet, so maybe magic could intervene and keep her alive – but the price is that she must remain the Lady of the Lake for all eternity and separated from her son….just becomes I love to see families in this show suffer. 😆
It would leave Ruth open to return from time to time to give advice to the heroes, but with a touch of family angst.

When you sent me the link, I freaked out thinking there were finally shots of MRJ on set. So it was kind of a bummer to see it was just someone claiming to see Henry’s dad (how would they even know that was his identity by seeing him? Did he have a custom made t-shirt reading I’m Henry’s Dad? :lol:)
Or did some lucky persons in the world actually get to witness the filming of Emma confronting Henry’s dad? 😮Also, Sarah here didn’t actually see it/him. This is coming out as a secondary source.

On a happy not – don’t let Jorge Garcia’s tweet bother you – he could be joking because he’s wearing jeans and a t-shirt. (That’s kind of how I took it, but who knows)A mesh-up of Dr. Frankenstein and Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde sounds spot on with what we know about Whale. But: could the show gain the rights to the Hulk? With the Avengers movie franchise so popular and active right now, I don’t think Hulk is a possibility.
Would love to see Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde be some type of action hero in the plot: he was one of my favorites in the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comics.

Very long shot: but what if the connection is Snow’s mom? We have to get some type of backstory for her at some point in the show.
I did take it for some type of childhood crush/friendship at first between Snow and Lancelot, but what if Lancelot’s lost love was Snow’s mom? Obviously there would have to be a time lapse (maybe Ginnifer Goodwin is playing the ‘mom’ role)
Leopold would be Arthur. Snow’s mom Guinevere. It might explain why Leopold was reading Regina’s diary, and that shift in his character when he learned she loved someone else (not that he wanted her love)- had already had one wife cheating on him. He does seem to revere Snow’s mother even in death, but maybe that’s more a result of an obsessive/over-whelming love than a product of her being a ‘devoted’ wife. And/or guilt from her death/loss (thinking Richard Harris at the end of Camelot the musical here). Leopold came off as a very idealistic king – he wanted everyone in his country to be happy and I could see him also wanting equality amongst his knights (round table). Doesn’t take much to see him in the role of Arthur. At least, for me. 😀
My mind is blown, TheGoldenKey! That has to be the best evidence for Whale’s identity and the most interesting! I now want to re-watch the Storybrooke Singles interview to just hear him say, “the sparks will fly” again. Could never come up with anything explaining the Sting reference (and had even been ready to dismiss it as an actor quirk..) but there it is: actually making sense!
Oh, let’s not forget that his identity reveal will be on the Halloween episode.
Can’t wait for the episode’s title to be released! Kind of hoping for a Young Frankenstein reference. Maybe ‘Sweet Mystery of Life’?
Red was my first thought, but I’m actually pretty protective of Henry and Baelfire. Since we’re not really sure what degree of mess Baelfire is going to be next season…I’ll go with Henry for now.

My theory is that Emma and Snow finally return back to Storybrooke, and we finally find out what went down between her and Henry’s dad. 😮
Feels kind of early for Emma’s backstory. But it felt like the curse wouldn’t be broken early on too.
This might be the most exciting episode yet (or at least what I’m most excited about!) Can’t wait for more spoilers on this one. (maybe see a picture of MRJ???)
