ParticipantWhat Giselle dress did you use before?
I was going to suggest Snow White, since her active outfit might be easier to piece together a bit at a time, but if you’ve already done a ball gown – that could be reused??

ParticipantI can’t remember what the Blue Fairy said, wasn’t it something about ‘losing the other beans”? I did, at the time, think this was an early hint to a future Jack character stealing the beans, but now I’m wondering if magic beans are just another lost resource in the Enchanted Forest…

ParticipantI would like to point out one interesting thing: Jack is another morally ambiguous character from fairytales. His heroism in his story is HIGHLY controversial-still. He was labeled a hero but stole and later murdered the ‘giant’ who gave him food and shelter, leaving the ‘giant’s wife’ (who was nothing but kind to him) penniless and husbandless…
In the story’s history, many things had been added to paint him in a more heroic light but Jim Henson himself refused to make Jack look like a victim and then have him be the conquering hero. Jack wasn’t a hero in his eyes, based on his actions. “Not a hero” seems to be the only fact known about Henry’s dad – I even think this could be a quote from Jim Henson about Jack. Even if this character has the traits of being kind and loyal (very young Baelfire traits) it doesn’t mean they’ll be on the surface.
I can’t see a modern adaption of Jack being a hero, and I can’t see the creators never reading Jim Henson’s thoughts on the character and going from there on. Even the elements taken from the story have to include thievery and murder. This guy might not be a ‘great guy’ right off the back – but they seem to set him up with the potential to be. Someone might have some redeeming to do!

I’m trying to wrap my head around this, who else is technically a guest star with option in ONCE? Does ‘option’ just mean it has the possibility of joining main cast? If so, makes sense that’s how they’ll bring Baelfire in, then add him to the main cast NEXT season.
It’s probably just a red herring. They can’t say this character is going to become a series regular or a recurring character without spoiling it a bit. But then again, this fandom has done a pretty good job figuring things out so far So, the show is screwed either way. 😆
That’s what I was thinking! I love how they give us a ten year age gap with this character! He could be in so many different places in life when we meet him: imagine a 21 year old vs. 36? 😯

ParticipantTold myself I wouldn’t be an annoying fangirl and freak out ever time a new, dark, mysterious, sexy man comes to town chanting BAELFIRE….Seriously though, does sound like Baelfire to me! My head canon has him as JACK but I’m wondering if tomorrow they’ll release another character that could be Bae…and the day after that…and the day after that….

ParticipantIf it’s true, getting Jefferson to fly over for random appearances seems VERY likely.
Seriously though, what is up? A show centered around true love sure does breed romance for the adult cast…so, who’s next? Was going to pair Lana with Giancarlo Esposito but he appears to be happily married.
