Since you hate the idea so much, may I ask why you think it’s true now? If anything, the new info has made me have doubts about Bae and Henry’s dad being the same guy…

Can I have the tapes from Baelfire’s, Emma’s, Rumple’s, Snow’s, Charming’s, Henry’s, and Belle’s one-on-one therapy sessions with Jiminy that will be starting… probably next season? And a master copy of all group/family therapy sessions that may arise? Pretty please???

I thought you were going into Emma being an ex-prostitute here: need to stop reading forums when I’m half-awake. I’m sold on the idea that Henry’s dad was a criminal: resentment from this could even tie to her bail bonds job.
Emma isn’t someone who likes to admit she’s been taken for a fool so she might just pass off Henry’s father as a one night stand because it’s easier than acknowledging all the hurt he’s caused her.
We all know how good Emma is with denial!
At seventeen, having feelings for someone, and then realizing they aren’t a great guy: I could see her jumping ship, thinking that it’s better than being left by HIM in the end. We know she’s been abandoned by parental figures multiple times in her life: could see Emma thinking that guys were all going to ditch her too, and feeling she has to be the first one out the door.Bae being dead just feels anti-climatic for me, but I’m sure would bring beautiful, heart-breaking acting from Carlyle. 😥
Before the latest information came out, I was pretty sure about a grown up Baelfire next season. Now, part of me is wondering…
I agree with you PriceofMagic, If he is an adult, even if he’s not Henry’s dad, I think a relationship would be interesting between Emma and Bae because of the baggage they carry.
Hadn’t thought about that, but Storybrooke is heading for war: her love interest (whoever it is) is going to be walking around with a target on their head. Since Emma’s had such a dysfunctional love life, I don’t see them killing her true love, but that probably isn’t going to be revealed until the end of the series. Let her have a normal-ish, adult dating life for awhile or at least attempt to.
