StahlopParticipant
Is that Alice with a bow? Yeah, i thought the last episode was going to show us Regina and Zelena. Though, i am not that big of a fan of Zelena as a character. Regina should not interact with her. She should not raise a child. She is still fun as a character even though she is terribly developed.
I think it’s Zelena’s daughter, Robin.
[adrotate group="5"]StahlopParticipantDid anyone else wonder if Drizella had somehow made Ella’s hat fly off and the ice break with her magic? Maybe not necessarily on purpose, but by accident since she supposedly didn’t have any control of it.
We never saw any indication in this storyline that either Anastasia or Drizella had been born with magic. You’d think if you were that poor that you might ask your daughters to try and use their magic.
StahlopParticipantI thought they made it sound like Anastasia would be the Guardian.
StahlopParticipantLucy’s one single tear (of belief? of disbelief?) woke up Anastasia but seems to have put Lucy in a comatose state.
Anastasia has been “dead” just about as long as Lucy has been alive. If Lucy is Anastasia reincarnated, then there’s just one soul between the two of them. This would explain why one needs to be comatose while the other is up and about, and why Tremaine was so interested in “winning” Lucy even before the tear spell became possible.
Anastasia had been ‘dead’ a lot longer than Lucy’s been alive. Ella was about the same age as Anastasia when they went through the ice. At the least, Ella was 18 or 19 when she had Lucy so a few years had passed between Anastasia’s death and Lucy’s birth.
I wonder how Anastasia is going to feel about everything her mother has done. I have a feeling she may sacrifice herself again to make Ella happy.

ARGH! I hated it. It really pulled me out of the episode. Why on earth didn’t continuity pick this up? You don’t just suddenly start pronouncing your own daughters name in a completely different way. What a stupid mistake to make in what was an otherwise good episode.
And everyone besides Victoria said it Ann-ah-stay-sha. If Rumple had only ever heard it from Lady Tremaine/Victoria, he should’ve said it in the same way. It really should have been caught.

Liked:
Victoria has a new Once Upon A Time book!
Ivy and Victoria’s scene at the beginning of the episode. They play very well off each other.
Young Rapunzel. She goes from vulnerable, to strong, to beaten down, to mildly evil in such a short time. Great work by that actress.
Liked that Rapunzel rescued herself.
Rumple is definitely awake!
Loved Rogers finding his hook in the locker.
Liked the twist on how Lady Tremaine became Ella’s step-mother.
Mixed:
So Anastasia is the Guardian? This does not make sense with what we’ve been told. Alice and Henry were the only ones near Rumple when he came through the portal. Anastasia was ‘dead’ by this point. It doesn’t add up.
I’m confused about Drizella and Lady Tremaine’s relationship. So Rapunzel comes back and Drizella prefers her step-mother, Cecilia. Rapunzel tries to get in her good graces but she doesn’t seem to care. When did Drizella start wanting her affections? When Cecilia left? And when did Lady Tremaine start hating Drizella?
Also, does Drizella know her mother poisoned her step-mother? Would Gothel have told her? Would Gothel have told her she provided the poison? We are assuming that the mushroom juice gave Cecilia the Poisoned Heart curse, right?
Jacinda and Nick kissing I’m mixed because I know we’re supposed to be rooting for her and Henry, but she and Nick have so much more chemistry.
Disliked:
Rapunzel and Victoria said Anastasia completely different. It was driving me nuts the entire episode.
Victoria’s manipulation of Lucy. So besides the fact that she apparently has a camera set up in jacinda’s apartment, what was her plan if Jacinda and Nick hadn’t kissed? How would she had made Lucy lose her belief?
No Tillie, Henry or Roni.
StahlopParticipantThough, I didn’t think about it that way till you mentioned it. It’s weird that Alice is the same age as Emma! ? SFG
I’m thinking Wonderland kept her younger because there is no way she in her early 30’s, which is how old she should be considering when she was born. Didn’t the original Alice have time issues as well when she was in Wonderland?
StahlopParticipantI’m new to the forums so i don’t know if i’m doing this right…
I feel like we were all assuming (mostly me) that because Wish-Hook was looking for his daughter in the magical world the missing girl Rogers is looking for in Seattle is his daughter but it would also make sense that the curse would put a twist on his quest and make his mind think he’s looking for Eloise Gardener (the Witch’s cursed name) instead of Tilly (Alice’s cursed name). Also this isn’t Gothel related but the fact that they showed the Witch speed up her pregnancy of Alice makes me feel like it could be what also happened to Lucy (since everyone keeps scratching their heads at the timeline that could be a theory?)

Anyone else notice that the name of the missing girl had the surname Gardner (which makes sense for Gothel as she has plant magic), and that Tilly’s name literally is about tilling (another gardening reference)?November 20, 2017 at 1:18 am in reply to: 707 "Eloise Gardener" Favorite/Least Favorite Moments #344733StahlopParticipantOne more thing to ponder. Gothel tells Hook that she can only leave if she leaves some one from her bloodline. She also says that Rapunzel managed to trap her in the castle. So either Rapunzel and Gothel are related in some way, or Rapunzel managed to make a curse that added this little bit to ensure she was trapped forever (not thinking that anyone would come to Gothel’s rescue).
Also, on second watch I did hear that Evil Queen did tell Wish Hook the tower was in a ‘distant realm’, so I guess he did travel to it somehow. It just seems awfully convenient that he happened to be there again.
November 19, 2017 at 4:56 pm in reply to: 707 "Eloise Gardener" Favorite/Least Favorite Moments #344727StahlopParticipant–How does “many years ago” even make sense for the Wish Realm??? It didn’t exist until last year! (yes, I will continue to find this befuddling!)
This is the only way I can make sense of this in my head: The Wish Realm wasn’t actually created by The EQ’s wish, it was just accessed by the wish. It already existed prior to the wish, and our Emma replaced the Emma in Wish Realm when the wish was made. Perhaps, as someone on here said, there are many, many realms that exist where a different choice was made in the timeline – for example ranging from a realm where Rumple never became the Dark One to a realm where young Snow didn’t tell Cora Regina’s secret. It’s really messy, and I wish Regina, Henry, or Rumple would question all of this to provide us an explanation, but that’s the best I can come up with.
This makes the most sense. Dont forget, the Evil Queen’s actual wish was to grant Emma’s wish of never becoming the savior. It was Regina who claimed it was just a Wish Realm and not real. I wonder what happened to the real Emma in their world though if it was a real place.
