I think the mine shaft and the elevator were not portals to FTL/EF, they just went underground. Snow’s glass coffin and the dragon (Maleficent) were under Storybrook but still in our world, just like Mr. Gold had all those objects from FTL/EF in his shop and Regina had all those magical objects in her vault. But all of those places are in our world. I hope I’m explaining myself well. 🙂
So trees were important to her even then. Maybe someday we’ll get the story of the apple tree (the one in her yard in SB).

Maybe he wants to come back and is trying to show the writers that it could be a possibility. I like the ideas they had on the podcast, that maybe the nickname “Leviathan” meant more than just ferocious in battle.
Well, if she is stuck in the Enchanted Forest for awhile, it might start to grow out as I doubt anyone there would know how to do a pixie haircut. I hope she keeps the pixie too. I think it’s more flattering to her face.
