    I agree; I liked this episode too. Even though it didn’t advance the Snow/James storyline, we did find out more about Emma. If every episode advanced the Snow/James storyline, after just a couple seasons there wouldn’t be much left in that for the writers to explore. Hopefully this show will have many, many seasons. 🙂

    Interesting theory. I had just thought that Rumple can now recognize desperate souls because it’s an ability that comes with being “The Dark One.” My theory is much more boring. 🙂 With these writers, it could be either or something entirely different. They’re so creative.
