I think Mulan is just reserved and likes to keep things close to the vest and that’s why it appears that she’s hiding something. I think sometimes we fans try to make things more complicated and twisty than they actually are. I know my mind’s gone down a few rabbit holes thinking and theorizing about this show. 😉

Interesting. So you think the Mysterious Man might be Rip Van Winkle and Henry’s dad might be the Headless Horseman? They are both definitely part of folklore.
