ParticipantHome and Family, there is no place like home. I think its interesting to see that home and family is the theme of 3B since a home and family all Neal and Emma every wanted in life. So I own personal headcanon is that for Emma home is wherethe heart is and her heart has rooms for Henry, her parents, her family, her friends, and her love which is Neal, the fire that keeps her heart warm. Perhaps Emma and Neal both discover that they have home, they have a family, and they both are getting a second chance at this. What if is this season we see both Emma and Neal fighting for their love, fighting to reunite with each other.
OOH Ranisha I can definitely see that Happening. So HeadCannon Accepted

ParticipantI have a theory that the title for the S3 finale is going to be “There’s No Place Like Home” and it will involve Emma and Neal breaking the WWW’s curse with TLK and them deciding where to set up a home together. One can dream, if only in my dreams.

Head cannon is very much accepted Slurpeez

ParticipantCan I just say what the HECK ?
First how can they forget everything in the last year in the EF ?
How can Hook evade this memory loss of the year in the EF and he remembers everything unless he is working for the WWW who I have no doubt is the one who can’t be trusted
I hope Adam is prepared for people being upset

ParticipantJust because we don’t have any news or pics of MRJ on set does not mean he hasn’t been filming or that Neal is the one. In fact I believe it’s quite the opposite It would seem rather stupid to it all over again as we just went through this between the season 2 finale and season 3A. So in my opinion that make him safe as well as Adam’s replies earlier in the week when asked about Neal. The fact that Adam said Neal is talked about in the writers room a lot indicates to me that he may have a huge part to play in season 3B. Neal/Baelfire was planned from the very beginning of the story he like Emma and Henry are the original created characters of Adam & Eddy I don’t think for a second that they would kill someone as important to the story they want to tell as Neal which is why I say I just don’t believe that the huge part for him to play the in these remaining 11 episodes of the season would be his death.
Again to state I can’t see Adam & Eddy going through all that trouble of intentionally seeking out MRJ to play the part of Neal/Baelfire and bringing him in for season 2, making him a series a regular only to kill him off in season 3 makes no kind of sense at all because if that was the case they would have just kept him as recurring which they did not do the made him a series regular which is an indication they have things planned for the character again I don’t see death being one of those things.I’ve said all along that I believe that it will be Hook that is the one who is going to die. Storyline wise his death does indeed make the most sense logically because the Neverland story is done and they have said no more Neverland so if this is story driven as Adam has been maintaining all along I can definitely see it happening especially given Adam’s response to RG’s tweet that it’s story drriven. When you look overall at the promo posters this season they make it clear as to what the objective is and what the end result of each character will be by the end of Season 3. Take Hook for example his poster says “Believe that a Pirate can be a hero” Through out season 3 we have seen Hook maintain that he believes in “Good Form” and that he is a man of honor. Yes did offer his ship and services at the end of season 2 to help get Henry and yes he even went as far as to forgo his desire to kill Rumple and avenge Milah’s death but still his intentions in doing all of this was not noble or unselfish and Charming saw it for what it was and called him out on it in the episode Good Form which is that Hook wanted Emma. He proved that at the end of Good Form by using the fact that he saved David’s life from the dreamshade poisoning and then expected Emma to show some gratitude by kissing him he wasn’t going to accept a simple thank you from her which by my estimation shows that his motivation was anything but unselfish. There is more examples throughout the rest of the season 3A but we have yet to see him really do something noble and unselfish and to put the needs or the life or lives of someone else above his own wants, needs and desires and I believe that is what we will see sometime during Season 3B and this motto in the promo picture will actually come true “Believe That A Pirate Can Be A Hero” And what would make him a hero and redeem him would be for him to make the ultimate sacrifice of his life to save Neal, Emma and even Henry from death. Neal’s poster motto on the other hand says to “Believe In Second Chances” and that has been his mantra the entire Season 3A when he told Robin Hood that Emma & Henry were his Second Chance. Before Rumple made his sacrifice he even told Neal that happiness was possible just not with him.” I think Rumple was trying to tell Neal that His Second Chance at happiness was with Emma & Henry. I think Rumple may have fore saw the future because back in Season 2 episode 15 The Queen Is Dead Rumple told Emma that she wanted a Second Chance with Neal and in Season 2 episode 21 Second Star To The Right Rumple again told Neal that he carried a torch for Emma. The theme of Second Chances has been a theme ever since season 2 and I can’t believe that they would just abruptly not want their audience to believe in Second Chances because that also constitutes believing in Hope and True Love and there is no way that Adam & Eddy would take away those themes from the show. So I think the speculation that it’s Neal who will die is an intended misdirection in order to shock fans when it turns out to be Hook as the one who dies.

Participant
Speaking of clothing, cursed Emma has been spotted wearing a lot of plaid: the plaid pajamas, the plaid paints, the plaid shirt. Her plaid pants in 3×12 seem so uncharacteristic that I was sure when those spoiler images were first leaked that Emma wasn’t in her right mind. Low and behold, she’s cursed! Anyway, it made me think how Emma being cursed has sort of reset her while yet simultaneously helped Emma find core parts of herself that tie her to Neal: the plaid is a direct link to 17-year-old Emma who wore a lot of plaid. So we have cursed Emma living in NYC, listening to “Charley’s Girl” and wearing plaid, not to mention being a mom to Henry, which are all things that link her back to Neal. Plus, we know we’re getting another “a-ha” moment when Emma rediscovers the dreamcatcher she gave Neal all those years ago. Looks like even when Emma’s memories are altered, some things stay the same. I’d say those are all subtle indicators that Emma’s journey in the second part of S3 will be finding Neal again. We may not know exactly where he is, but something tells me that Emma never gives up until she finds what she’s looking for: home.
I agree Slurpeez and we all know that Home for Emma is Neal

ParticipantThese amazing photos are total proof that the ABC media and marketing departments are run by flying monkeys who don’t know what the heck they’re doing. Massive missed opportunity.
I may not get any work done today…I’m too busy staring at MRJ’s smile. *melts*
I have to agree with you Heather the photos are amazing I don’t understand what was going through the minds of those people at ABC in the media & marketing departments

ParticipantJo – I say this with a lot of love and affection….you really need to let go of the ‘evidence’ because it’s not really telling us anything. Until the show starts back up again we know absolutely NOTHING story wise about any photos that we’re seeing (and don’t get me started on the tooly Tumblr spoiler which I just saw at lunch and was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever read) so IMO, panicking and losing hope is awfully premature.
THIS times a frillion! Honestly, we get glimpses of the shooting process for only a few scenes per ep, and there are so many scenes in every ep that we know nothing about. We haven’t seen WW filmng many scenes, or even Robin and Regina, and we KNOW that all of them will have a large screen presence in S3B. So how come when MRJ isn’t seen on set for a little bit, it instantly means he’s dead, when it doesn’t mean the same for other characters? I honestly don’t get why people seem to use different rules when it comes to MRJ being on set or not. If we get promo pics of Neal lying in a coffin, then by all means, freak out, but unless and until that happens, there’s no point in jumping to conclusions, because we really don’t actually have any conclusive “evidence” that he’s died at all.
A lot of people are great at putting out volumes of headcannons about how Neal is unimportant, and obviously it must be him that’s dead but some of these are the same people who will say things in chat like “Neal didn’t know about the curse when he left Emma.” Or will insist Emma ignored him at the townline. When people are editing the show in their own memories to quite that extent, it does make me question the speculation and spoilers that get filtered by them too. I know many of them aren’t doing it on purpose out of dislike for the character but simply they WANT and NEED to believe that things are this way because of how much they like Hook. They often admit they watch only for Hook, and that’s not how I think the show is written. I do not think (ABC media aside ) that the writers think of Hook as the main character around which the show revolves.
THIS times a frillion + 1!
Emma has lost Neal three times and twice found him. She’s bound to find him a third time. It’s the way these things usually turn out in epic narratives and fairytales. Neal and Emma’s destinies are entwined; they have been since the beginning when Rumple made her the savior of the curse designed to locate his son. Yes, fate brought them together for a reason, and while that fate kept them apart because of the first curse, it’ll bring them around together in the end. That is what fairytales are all about: fulfilling one’s personal narrative as one strives to achieve a happy ending. It’s been shown quite clearly that Emma and Neal both have the same goal of Tallahassee (family and home); all that remains is them working out how to be together.
Here’s hoping third time will be the charm. Like, a charm that hangs on a keychain kinda charm.
This and a millionth trillionth times more.
I still have faith that this is a huge misdirection and that it will be Hook that dies most likely making the ultimate sacrifice to save Neal, Emma Henry from her BlackBeard or the WWW, thereby redeeming his character in everyone’s eyes and becomes a hero hence Hooks poster “Believe That A Pirate Can Be A Hero
Like, a charm that hangs on a keychain kinda charm.
